Patisserie De Rouw is a Dutch institution of haute pâtisserie, rooted in sixty years of craftsmanship and family heritage. Founded in 1962 in Vught, it grew from a modest village bakery into one of the most respected patisseries in the Netherlands, now led by Arthur and Doris de Rouw, with the third generation stepping in. Their philosophy is uncompromising: everything is made in‑house, from roasted hazelnuts to praliné, confitures, advocaat, and chocolate work — a devotion to detail that defines their signature style.

As the only Dutch member of @relaisdesserts_officiel the global association of the world’s top pâtissiers, De Rouw stands among the elite of the craft. This recognition reflects their innovation, precision, and constant pursuit of perfection, supported by international knowledge exchange and a long‑term family vision focused on quality and sustainability.

Today, their son Niels continues the legacy, aiming for his own Relais Desserts membership — a testament to the family’s ongoing excellence and ambition.

❌ Bocuse d'Or Nederland organiseert in 2026 geen nationale finale. De organisatie kiest voor een herijking van de opzet en wil de komende periode gebruiken om de organisatie verder te professionaliseren en te werken aan een toekomstbestendige structuur voor culinaire wedstrijden in Nederland.

The final creations of Bocuse d’Or Netherlands 🇳🇱 have a soft, refined appearance.

We developed these molds together with Jet Loos and Marco Poldervaart, down to every detail. These molds are now available on the webshop, and 2 more will follow. A delicate tartelette topped with a crisp, airy tuile and an elegant miniature cone, finished with decorative touches of gold leaf surrounding the dessert.

Refinement, precision and efficiency,

Just a few words that capture the Bocuse d’Or competition, where every detail matters. With Toolculinair molds, these elements come together naturally, helping chefs work fast, clean and with consistent precision.💫

These photos show only a small part of what happens behind the scenes of Team The Netherlands. Every detail is captured on camera, from preparation to execution. It’s all about focus, teamwork and getting everything just right. Early this year, we had the opportunity to support Team Bocuse d’Or Netherlands in the development of silicone molds for the Bocuse d’Or Europe competition in Marseille, held on March 15 and 16, 2026. Looking back on this collaboration, it marked an important moment in how we approach the development of new mold types. In close collaboration with Jet Loos and Marco Poldervaart, we explored and created a range of new molds tailored to the demands of the competition.

In this video, Jet Loos shares her experience of the collaboration, alongside a glimpse of the dishes presented during the competition.

Several of these molds have since been introduced into our webshop, making them available beyond the competition setting.
