Fall flavors are taking over the menu at Corio 🍂🍕

Through October 24, Chef David Feola of @corio.philly is teaming up with Chef Wyatt Piazza of @kiddorestaurant for a seasonal pizza that tastes like autumn. It starts with a squash-infused bechamel and roasted garlic, topped with delicata squash, smoked chestnut mushrooms from @mycopolitan, smoked cheddar from @birchrunhills, and pickled shallot. Trust me, you need to taste this one.

Plus, you can explore Corio’s seasonal menu, featuring locally sourced ingredients and fresh flavors that change with the seasons. It's the perfect excuse for a fall dinner in University City!

#hosted I am soaking up every last bit of nice weather and so I had to cross off a visit to Lucky Duck while I could still indulge in a nice breeze and waterfront views. My friends and I went to brunch and we were immediately obsessed. The service was fantastic, and everyone we interacted with was so lovely. The drinks were perfect; I really loved the Bananas Foster Iced Latte. Our favorite bites were definitely the Table Cake (we added blueberries and Nutella, and I recommend you do the same!); the Breakfast Burrito with a TON of Carne Asada; and the Breakfast Pizza! Don’t forget to try and win your own duck on the way out! When you go to Lucky Duck for brunch, do not skip the Table Cake, & be sure to tell ‘em PFAB sent ya!

#hosted Stina is one of those spots I will always say yes to. Dinner at Stina? Yes! Take out from Stina? Yes. Patio seating at Stina? YES! This spot in South Philly is open Tuesday through Sunday and is BYOB. It is very small so I definitely recommend making a reservation. Stina is the kind of place you can come multiple times and always find a new favorite on the menu. The Onion Fritters and the Falafel are a must for me, as are the Carrots (which we completely forgot about this visit, oops! The Chicken Souvlaki Platter was perfect for sharing and I thought the chicken was so tender. And you cannot go wrong with a Pide - this time we got the Kefta and LOVED it. The Spicy Soppressata Pizza is also always a win. The salads are so fresh and come with so much feta cheese - all other salads should take note. And if you’re not ending your meal with the Tahini Chocolate Cake, you’re skipping the best decision you’ll make all day. Say yes to the Cake, always say yes to a visit to Stina, & be sure to tell ‘em PFAB sent ya!

This is your sign to grab a bagel or two from @bartsbagels newest location in Bala Cynwyd!

I can guarantee you these bagel sandwiches were absolutely amazing. We ordered their Phishman Bagel sandwich on a pumpernickel everything bagel. It comes with Pastrami Smoked Salmon, Scallion Cream Cheese and Cucumbers. We also ordered their B.E.C. on an egg everything bagel.

One Dr. Brown’s Black Cherry soda and a cold brew to wash it all down.

This my friends is the ultimate breakfast of champions 🤍

Don’t even ask me how often I think about these butter ducks. Truly such a fab brunch spot with the view of the water, delicious food and yes, the butter ducks.

Also, if the BLT is still on the menu you must get that!!

💖PFAB’S 10 BEST BITES OF THE MONTH💖
☀️WITH THREE BONUS BITES!☀️

It’s the end of the month, so it’s time for the 10 things I ate this month that really, TRULY blew me away.
Now, as a disclaimer, everything I post on my page is things I enjoyed; if I didn’t like it, I don’t post it. But these 10 items really stuck with me.
Also this series is not unique to me, I know a ton of other fabulous creators who do similar things. Specifically, I’m basing mine off a wonderful creator I admire, @niksnacks

Now, without further ado, and in no particular order:

✨Lamb Shank from Carmine’s Eatery in Newtown Square PA - tender, easily pulled off the bone, and so flavorful
✨Summer Squash Pastry from Machine Shop in Phila PA - the squash was so beautiful & this was the perfect summertime pastry
✨Tomato Jam Cake from The Cake Vault in Phila PA - vanilla cake, basil buttercream, sweet tomato jam, this was perfect
✨Lamb Neck Hummus from Ezme in Wilmington DE - smoothy & creamy hummus and tender lamb = a decadent combo
✨Sweet and Sticky Calamari from Pesto in Phila PA - I couldn’t describe this sauce if I tried but I want it on everything
✨Scallop Toast from Mawn in Phila PA - this was a special the night we went & the toast was in this crab fat butter - GOD
✨Corn and Ricotta Manicotti from Miss Rachel’s Pantry in Phila PA - this dish was so good you would never know it’s vegan
✨All Six Gelato Flavors from the Cocco’s Gelato Pop Up at Herman’s Coffee in Phila PA - blown away by the creativity of my friends & the talented team behind Cocco’s
✨Sausage Sandwich from Tabachoy in Phila PA - dreaming of this sandwich til I can have it again (& again)
✨Fried Chicken Banh Mí from Càphê Roasters in Phila PA - I sure did not care it was 10am, this was amazing
✨BONUS BITE 1: Oysters at the Phillies Game - this was so wild it needed another shoutout
✨BONUS BITE 2: Cookie Dough Cinnamon Roll from Paffuto in Phila PA - truly my dream come true!
✨BONUS BITE 3: Roast Pork Panzarotti from Paffuto in Phila PA - Mackie will be chasing the high she got from this for a long time
