Leave the world behind as you drift effortlessly on the water, surrounded by soothing sounds and complete calm.

Before the floating begins, @bonnie.beth_ creates a peaceful space with intention setting, helping you slow down, arrive in the moment, and prepare for the experience ahead.

Guided breathwork helps settle the nervous system, release tension, and prepare both mind and body for deep relaxation.

As you float, the pure resonance of crystal singing bowls travels across the water, creating a deeply immersive experience unlike anything else.

The evening concludes with oracle card reflection and a calming cup of chamomile tea, leaving you feeling grounded, restored, and restful.

Yoga retreat September 2026 🧘‍♀️☀️

✈️ Out of office… and occasionally upside down! Tomorrow I’m swapping cakes, buttercream and piping bags for yoga mats and sunshine as I head off to Portugal for a yoga retreat at boutique hotel @areiasdoseixo.

🧘‍♀️ I’ll be practising with one of my favourite teachers, Sue @suegregyoga, with some Pilates courtesy of @wimbledonvillagepilates too. A few days to stretch, reset, recharge… and give my Kenwood a well-earned rest!

📸 This photo is from another wonderful Portugal retreat in May 2025 at @paraiso_escondido, with the formidable Roisin @roisinhopeyoga.

🌸🧩And when I’m back, it’ll be sharing a very special 80th birthday cake where gardening meets jigsaw puzzles.

See you soon! 💕👩‍🍳

Some experiences stay with you long after you leave…

The Immersion Retreat at Broughton Hall was one of those experiences.

Connecting with the land, its history and the stories and lineage woven through it. Hearing its history opened our hearts to our own ancestry and all that came before us.

From a silent disco journey through the forest, to witnessing the beautiful work of rewilding and restoring the land, it felt like a beautiful weaving of connection.

To nature. To ourselves. To our ancestors. And to the path we are creating for future generations.

Nourishing food. Sound. Yoga. Deep rest.

An invitation to slow down, open our hearts and remember what truly matters.

So grateful to have shared this experience with one of my beautiful Sound Sisters.

And a heartfelt thank you to Roger and Paris for their generosity, kindness and love in opening up their home and sharing this special place with us, and to the whole Broughton team for making us feel so welcomed, cared for and held throughout 🙏🏼✨💕

A little recap of our last coastal foraging day

We had the most beautiful day. With hedgerow, meadow, saltmarsh and coastal foraging all taking place. Fresh food cooked on a campfire on the beach, wild fermented drinks, boozy aperitifs, tasty desert and a whole range of nourishing and medicinal foods… all this along with a gorgeous group of people 🥰

I’ve been debating putting in one last Cumbria coastal foraging day in August, I’ve had a fair few people ask but please let me know if you’d like one by commenting COASTAL below.

See you in the saltmarsh
