What started as “One Night Stamp” at Hollywood’s @champagne_shack during Hollywood Art Week has officially evolved into a one-day workshop at our local @mymamasbooksrecordscafe for Dania Beach Art Week.

A little project born out of a love for records—and especially the people, places, and memories attached to them—turned into an afternoon of community, creativity, and a whole lot of smiling faces.

We rescued a bunch of vinyl record sleeves that were headed for the trash and gave them a second life. There was cutting, stamping, laughing, creating… and, thankfully, no fingers were lost in the process. There were a few close calls, though. Luckily, the Retro Records Rescue Unit always has a full-time nurse on staff.

“One Night Stamp” started as a little wink toward hookup culture, but became something much more meaningful: finding what matters, making something with your hands, and connecting with the people around you.

Community matters. Records matter. And sometimes the things we think are finished just need a little love and imagination.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this so special—and to My Mama’s for supplying the stamps so these little postcards could actually make their way out into the world.

And where does “One Night Stamp” go from here? Who knows. It’s out there carousing, making friends, rescuing records, and getting into a little trouble wherever it goes.

For now, it’s still hanging at Champagne Shack, enjoying the finest natural wine, and making a little home for itself at My Mama’s, where a selection of the work is still on display.

The French gave us a famous mime. They gave us champagne. They gave us a few revolutions, too.

At the Retro Records Rescue Unit, we’ve been a little obsessed with a certain French mime lately….an art form that says everything without saying a word.

This Friday we’re celebrating , rescued vinyl, champagne, and the kind of night that reminds you that genuine oddity is precious.

🥂 Friday • 8 PM until late
📍 Champagne Shack
🎶 All vinyl. All heart. All boogie.

Come raise a glass and meet some wonderful people.

🎉🥂 We’re going to be on TV!

Catch Champagne Shack on Deco Drive this Thursday, July 23 at 7:30 PM on WSVN Channel 7 as they share the story behind our little underground natural wine bar and the incredible community that has made it all possible.

This moment belongs to everyone who has walked through our doors, shared a bottle, brought a friend, played music, made art, or simply believed in what we’re building.

When love wins, we all win. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out, showed their support, and continues to make Champagne Shack more than a wine bar—it’s a community.

Here’s to many more glasses shared together. 🥂

OMG. 😂 This episode of RRRU was basically me talking nonsense, talking a little shit, pulling cool records out of a box, and seeing where the music took us. There was absolutely no plan and at some point we completely went off the rails… honestly, those are sometimes my favorite episodes. Hope one of these unlocked a memory.
