Watching Alex Stern grow into her role, navigate the impossible, and figure out who she is with and without her mentor had me completely hooked. Between the raw emotions, the unforgettable writing, and the constant tension, I couldn’t put these books down.

They blend magic, secret societies, and gothic atmosphere with a modern setting that feels fresh and believable. Dark, emotional, and impossible to look away from.

4TH of July is my favorite holiday!!! I love living in the USA! Today we're going some friend's house for a cookout and then to watch fireworks. They live right next to Mustang, OK where's it's legal for everyone to light fireworks! It's crazy fun to see it all!!!! Some of the foods we'll enjoy are smoked ribs, baked beans, apple pie. . .I'm not sure what all, but there will be a fun spread!!

My non fiction favorites are a bit niche, and most people I personally know just shake their heads (lovingly!) when I info dump about them. But I just find these medicine-related topics so fascinating! And I have from a very young age.

I remember being about 8 years old, begging my mother to rent Outbreak from Blockbuster because I wanted to learn more about Ebola. She said no because the movie was too gory for a young kid, but she encouraged me to learn more about the topic with non fiction books from the library. And I haven’t stopped since.
