POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

☀️𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐀𝐆☀️

🇬🇧The first half of the year is already almost over, and I’ve been able to read so many wonderful books! It was tough to choose just three each time because there were so many other great books.
The fantasy genre did especially well this year, while romance, and feel-good in particula, is a bit underrepresented so far.

I’m really looking forward to the unread books on my shelves and everything that’s still to be released! I’ve also tagged a few readers to join in.

My fav reads of 2025!

(Only 'Erfgenaam van Zeven Wateren' is missing in the photo, but I've found it second hand on Vinted 3 days ago🥳).

Both of these series were recommended to me by my bestests of friends (and, like always, one of the highlights of my year) @bookishoxygen ❤️

I was tagged by @brothergrimdark to do the 1 book 3 quotes tag and I immediately knew what book to use for this tag. The Ninth Rain! Because it is not nearly mentioned as much as it deserves.

"Judging by the constellations just starting to glint into life, the scent of the wind and the texture of the earth... I would say we're precisely in the middle of nowhere."

"It helps to understand things, don't your think? It makes them less alarming."

"When you say "technical problem", Vintage, are we talking about the sort of technical problem that results in the whole thing exploding like it did the other week?"

Tagged a few others but no pressure!

💜 Purple Flatlay 💜

Thanks @avid.ink.drinker for the tag! This was a fun book challenge. I have a lot of books with purple spines, but not that many with a purple cover.

I’ve tagged a few people, but no pressure to participate. Even if you’re not tagged, feel free to join the challenge.

Heb jij Storygraph? M'n gebruikersnaam is daar hetzelfde dus voeg me vooral toe!

Thank you @avid.ink.drinker for the tag! This was a fun challenge, and I discovered I don’t have that many books with a red spine. ❤️

DROP YOUR BOOKRECS IN THE COMMENTS!

As for me and my stubborness... I actually do take advice. Very good advice from marvellous people who have the same interests and give excellent reading recommendations. I could tell people that but instead I decided to be petty and make a reel about it.

Here againg thanking my peeps:
ericavantankeren who got me back into reading by recommending ACOTAR
@bookishoxygen for loving The House in the Cerulean Sea so much I needed some of it aswell
@marlies_vanloo thanks for setting me up to meet my latest bookboyfriend Wrath in Kingdom of the Wicked
@bookaddictnl thanks for introducing me to Karin Slaughter (and other recommendations)
@ MY AMAZING DAUGHTER! I love how sometimes you love a story so much that you want to share it with me and insist I read it ❤️
@marieke1510 thanks for introducing me to Thomas Oldeheuvelt, one of my favourite books and many others.

Also...Which sunglasses did you like best? And before you ask, no these aren't all my pairs of sunglasses. Just my faves.

✨️ BOOK CLUB ✨️

Wie weet sta jij volgend jaar in een collage 😊 Wat lees jij vandaag?
