Super kilig to finally have a virtual meet-and-greet with Sean Halbert Lim, the brilliant translator behind To the Moon, Counterattack at Thirty (which we’ve already read in our book club), Perfect Happiness, The Black Orb, and many more!

I was lucky enough to ask him a question, and he generously shared his thoughts about the translation industry, his experiences as a translator, and even a few little spoilers about the exciting project he’s currently working on. 🤭

The questions were:

It was such a wonderful and inspiring experience to hear from someone whose work has introduced me to new words, expressions, and stories. Thank you, Sean, for your time and generosity! You are truly an inspiration to this K-culture and K-literature enthusiast.

Thank you also to the KCC Book Club Girlies for inviting me to this fun and engaging conversations.

Until next time! 😄
