The author through the narration of her life, her self-transformation journey and the various trials and obstacles she had to come across, shares with us the wisdom she gained along the path. We often lose hope and turn negative at the rise of unpleasant events in life, but this short book with numerous chapters brings light into our life by urging us to be optimistic, to look at the bright side of things. The best part is the mix of prose and poetry which made the reading more enjoyable and mindful. Each chapter title is described with a short poem followed by the explanation and thoughts from the author. I have always loved books on self-love and ways to improve the self-concept, and I found this to be a beautiful one in that genre, especially for beginners. The two brothers gets into action at the missing of Shravya Chandra, the wife of a high-profile film actor, Arun Chandra. The turns the investigations take is unpredictable, none of our conclusions or guesses becomes right, and that’s like the best part about it, backed with vivid descriptions making us feel the story enough to keep us on toes. The book also discusses many relevant topics like trauma, gender biases, toxic relationships, domestic violence.. and this simple missing case takes a great turn. The two brothers investigating on their own two different levels adds to the mystery. With more characters and great plot and character development, it was a very thrilling story from the beginning. It’s an empowering novel in terms of showing the potential a woman holds within her. "Not every fight is your fight. Some are mine and I can choose how I want to handle it." Except for the few editing errors, it’s a very gripping and interesting investigative mystery, and a great work by an Indian author. An appreciation for the beautiful cover too. I was unable to read this as soon as I received the copy because of my hectic university schedules but it's on my June TBR reads and I'm hopeful I'll be reading this beauty by the last week of June! 🤞 //Onto the questions!// 🌸Do you like bookmarks? 🐾We love bookmarks! They are life savers but surely we end up using random things as our bookmarks! 😂 Handmade bookmarks are love though! ❤️ And we enjoy making them in our free time! 🌸Do you eat/drink while reading? 🐾Sometimes yeah!
