Huge thanks to @bookboundsarah for the tag! One of my absolute favourite tropes is a good UNRELIABLE NARRATOR. Give me a protagonist who is lying to themselves, lying to the reader, or completely losing their grip on reality, and I am sold every single time. There is just something so satisfying about trying to piece together the truth when you can’t even trust the person telling you the story! . . 👇🏾QOTD: What is one of your all-time favourite tropes, and which books pull it off the best? . . I’m tagging a few friends to keep this going! If you’re tagged, share yours! @booksforkat @thesimplebookreview @valeofbooks @irish_voyager_thru_books @read.it.darker @mybookishcult @genxkatreads @the.undercurrent.read

A while back, @kai.s_library & @anniken.in.wonderland tagged me in both a Scavenger Hunt and a Find the Book Challenge… So I combined them into a “Find a Scavenger Challenge”. I restricted myself to only physical books, and was super excited to find that I had a couple of books that fulfilled MULTIPLE items! I’m tagging some friends to choose either a Scavenger Hunt Challenge or a Find A Book Challenge (or you can be chaotic like me and do both - or you can do neither, really, it’s entirely up to you my dears!). @kai.s_library 's Scavenger Hunt for a book with: 🗺 less than 300 pages 🗺 a one word title 🗺 a name in the title 🗺 a place setting in the title 🗺 an animal in the title 🗺 a color in the title 🗺 a number in the title OR try @anniken.in.wonderland ’s Find A Book challenge: 🔍 your favorite color 🔍 with a mountain on the cover 🔍 with a house on the cover 🔍 with a holiday themed cover 🔍 with an animal on the cover 🔍 that gives you cozy vibes 🔍 with a face on the cover 🔍 with a tree on the cover And if I havent tagged you, but you would still like to do this, go for it! Consider yourself tagged 😊 Happy hunting my loves! 😘
