Two fall series in one week, who am I even?!?!?

If you’ve never been to Edison, Washington you absolutely have to add it to your fall bucket list! It is a true gem of a little town, super eclectic and artsy with a very cool community! It makes for the perfect day trip and the drive through the Skagit Valley is really beautiful!

14k mixed with rose gold and green and white sapphires. Melted a gold chain I found and an old rose gold stacking ring I made many years ago, into this new ring. Soaking up the end of summer today in Edison, sooo many cute new shops and art to see.

just 90-ish minutes from seattle is the cutest bookstore, @bookshucker 📖🦪⭐️ i visited in June and meant to talk about it sooner because it’s a new fave. in fact, this post is so delayed they’re not even in this space anymore and have moved to a bigger one down the street (cannot wait to visit soon!!)

their selection was fantastic in their smaller space, so i cannot wait to see what they have in their new space!! i’m hoping to make it up to Bow/Edison and visit sometime in the next few weeks before summer is over 🤞🏻

Trying my hardest to linger in the space between now and next summer as long as I can. Maybe a little like putting on my own life jacket first, I don’t want to just keep swimming, I am going to float on my back and stare at the big sky above until I’m ready to swim a bit more. ❤️ I hope when our guys look back on their childhoods they will appreciate that we paused sometimes for joy and not just for crisis, emergency or routine. Those come, whether we’re ready or not just like a last trip in an 18th summer (we’re heading out soon), big tests, tryouts, health exams and just life. What is guaranteed for anyone except the moments we have now? Are you trying to squeeze the last little bits out of summer too? I still haven’t swam in a lake or picked blackberries yet so these will be the goal.
