🚂📚 BOOKS ON THE RAIL

Yesterday, I joined the @booksontherail movement!

I left a copy of A Few Shades Greener and Eye to Eye on a random seat on a metro train bound for Melbourne.

Who knows where they are now!

How does it work?
👉🏽 Find a book on a train, tram or bus & take it home with you!

👉🏽 Read it, love it, review it

👉🏽 Return it to any train, tram or bus for others to enjoy!

I'm adding my own in there: sign it!

Are there any book ninjas out there?
Has anyone played this game?

🚂 Books on the Rail 🚂

Five Found Dead
by @sularigentill

What a fabulous selection for my Indian Pacific train trip! I actually received 5 of these to distribute last year but knew I had this trip booked so I sneakily kept one back. I read it on the rails, left it in the Chairman's Lounge, then went back in the morning and it was gone!!! Someone found a book on the rail!!! I hope they loved it as much as I did. It was the perfect train choice but would have been awesome anywhere. A moody, Christie-esque mystery.

Thanks @booksontherail for sending these and sorry I held one back for so long. It was just too perfect. 🥰

✨ @booksontherail Ninja Book Drop✨

We’re on last leg of our holiday and when I saw we were flying out of the international terminal in Cairns I had to do a book drop!

I’ve had the best time away and I’ve been thinking about the books I’ve dropped along the way. Has anyone found them? Have they enjoyed a little bit of book joy? I really hope one day I find one in the ‘wild’

I hope everyone has an amazing week this week! I can’t wait to show you the bookish goodies I’m coming home with

Thank you again @booksontherail and @walkerbooksaus for sending me some copies to take away with me!!

This wonderful YA novel by S C Bandreddi is riding the buses and the trains around Ballarat this week. THE perfect read to get your heart pounding and your blood pumping during this extreme burst of winter weather we have been hit with. The perfect excuse to curl up in front of the heater and out of the rain.

Power, revenge and sisterhood combine in this heart-pounding YA fantasy debut, set in a magical circus in Belle Époque Paris.

Trapeze artist Falan Sunkara is a performer in Paris’s famous magical circus, le Cirque des Ombres. Le Cirque is ruled by Jean-Pierre, ringmaster and Enchanteur, one of the few magicians in the city legally allowed to use magic for entertainment. But the glamour of the circus is just another illusion. Each year, twelve members must compete in the Game of Oaths, a brutal tournament watched by the city’s elite. Only one will survive.

Last year, Falan’s sister was one of the unlucky eleven. This year, Falan is out for revenge.
