Which books do you absolutely love and hate that are not real life? 📚

Happy Bookstack Wednesday bookworms...shall we play a game?

Before we do in today's post are some pretty books that I absolutely adore!

For me they are the perfect read if you're unsure about what book you what to read.

They're feel good, have a wide range of romance: from regency to ice hockey, a slow burn to a one bed and enemies to lovers I just love them and would highly recommend!

In this post I have also tagged some amazing bookstagrammers who I believe deserve your follow...

So in the comments is where we will play our game, I'd like you to tag your favourite bookstagrammer down below so we can follow them.

This then creates dear bookworm a follow train, ta-dah!

Exciting I know, so what are you waiting for? Get tagging and following ✨

👀𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨…⏭️
So I often go into books without always realising if they are a series / duology / stand alone etc. Then cliffhangers ensue and I’m sad I have to wait for the release of the next. When the Moon Hatched was a 4.5 star read for me and I’m really looking forward to the next - The Ballad of Falling Dragon’s - now planned for February 2026!

❓What’s a book you are waiting to be released? Month if possible too as It’ll remind me what to look out for 😂
🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m also looking forward to rebel witch - I know it’s out but I’ve been patiently waiting my preordered FL copy to read it! (Well… semi-patiently)

🏷️ tag to show a book/ series you’re looking forward to further releases! No pressure as always! 🫶🏻

What's your favourite celestial book? 🌙

Happy Bookstack Wednesday bookworms, how are you?

Introducing to you this very cold wednesday...

A Bookstack of Dragons and Moons.

But seriously how cool is this!?

I saw this challenge on @book.ink.bee bookstagram and knew I needed to get involved.

For this challenge you create a stack with the title 'A Bookstack of _________ and _________' then you pick the books, easy as that!

I've tagged some amazing bookstagrammers (do give them a follow) but if you feel like joining in please tag me in your stacks.

I absolutely love books with dragons in them but would you rather be the dragon or the rider? Let me know in the comments below ✨

💜Purple Book Stack!

Hello Lovelies, today I have a little stack of purple books for you - I always think that, after orange, purple is the best Halloween colour and the most witchy too! Plus, you simply cannot go wrong with a nice bit of purple! 😉

Q: What are your plans for Halloween week?
And what colours do you most associate with Halloween?

We are on half term break here in the UK - we have already had a lovely daytrip to the seaside, we went out for lunch today and tomorrow we are off to book town Hay-on-Wye for my birthday, yay! (Side note, huge thanks to all the Lovelies who have been kind enough to send me wishlist parcels, I'll be ripping into them tomorrow morning before we head out, so expect to hear from me tomorrow! 😍)

We are then planning a more chilled rest of the week with some pumpkin carving, a Halloween spooky treasure hunt for the kids on Friday and hopefully a woodland walk at some point if the rain holds off - we can but hope!

I'd love to hear what you all are up to this week. Let me know too if you have read any of the purple books in my stack!

💜Books Featured:

The Raven Scholar #antoniahodgson
House of Dragons #kalinde
Nettle #bexhogan
The Neverending Story #michaelende
Defy the Night #brigidkemmerer
Ink Exchange #melissamarr

💜 I'd love to see more purple book stacks, so if you are seeing this please consider yourself tagged to create one! But never any pressure obviously - let's keep insta fun!

Have a brilliant week everybody!

💐𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬🌺
Thank you @my.eclectic.vibes and @once_upon.a_page for the tag on this one. I know it’s normally a few books to match but I figured it had rose in the title😂? I absolutely love Peonies - these were the last ones before they died off🌷

Pictured is the beautiful @fairyloot edition Rose in Chains by Julie Soto ft our green green grass and sun before the summer left us

❓Flowers or something edible? // what’s your favourite flower?

So here’s #4 of me highlighting picks from my physical TBR stack in the hope that I focus on them and get it down 😂Pictured is the lovely Bury our Bones in the Midnight Soil. Illumicrate (L) and Fairyloot (R) editions by V E Schwab. Anyone read it/ thoughts? Now to decide which one to unhaul!

I’m currently on 76 physicals 👀. I do try and prioritise them but equally Libby holds with audiobooks seem to derail that slightly 😂

❓What’s one of your most anticipated reads from your TBR?

🏷️ tagged a few pals to share some physical tbr highlights zero pressure as always but please tag me if you do! 🫶🏻

Happy Thursday friends!
Tell me something you’re currently loving 🖤
I’ve been so busy with work, the kids, and life in general lately I feel like I’m barely on here hanging out with my besties, so I decided it was time for a little currents update.

Also tagging a few besties because I know we’re all lost in the “it’s getting darker and colder, oh and the algorithm sucks” burnout, and this challenge is a fun way of catching up, but also super low effort.

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 🖤
The Falconer by Elizabeth May (just starting, and thank you for choosing this for me, besties)

𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 🖤
Good old black tea (English breakfast or the likes) with a dash of milk and a bit of sugar if you catch me in the evenings and a fruity flavoured energy drink if you catch me in the morning

𝗘𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 🖤
Right now as I post, these delicious photo props

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 🖤
Barely have any time for the telly either, but when I do it’s usually Criminal Minds. But lately I’ve really been wanting to rewatch Friends, or start up with Bad Judge because that looks fun.

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 🖤
I just finished Caroline Lee’s The Duke’s Mysterious Lover (which I absolutely recommend by the way) so now I need to find her next audio book or something similar. Or perhaps I’ll go back to one of the dramatised books.
Oh and I’m also binge listening to Taylor’s new album because while I initially wasn’t that impressed it’s grown on me, somehow the songs just work for the season’s snuggling up sessions

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 🖤
Snuggling up in my blanket and reading without being disturbed.
Short walks outside with my cat who’s waiting for me when I get home from work.
All the money I get from working my but off delivering books to all the readers snuggling up at home (payday tomorrow may have influenced this one a teeny bit).

𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕔𝕜 & ℝ𝕖𝕕 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕔𝕜

If you haven't embraced spooky season, it's time! 🖤 Challenging some friends to make seasonally appropriate black & red stacks.

I was hoping to finish a book over the weekend, but ended up reading half of two different ones instead. 😂 I'm reading The Serpent and the Wolf and A Curse Carved and Bone – two books with pretty similar themes. Somehow I keep picking up similar books unintentionally, I guess it's my mood.

📚 Do you read more than book at once usually? If so, do you consider how similar they are?
