meet the jesmos! 👹🎃😃🐸🤖🍪

back in october, i made some small silicone molds to turns scraps of wet or crumbled jesmonite AC100 into faces. in 6 months, over 100 of these unpredictable little experiments have appeared. if you’d like to meet them all, you’ve come to the right place!

Hey, remember these?? My creative routines and focus have been pretty scattered lately which ain’t great for a daily project, but I did manage to scrape together a few friends at various points in the last three months. Congrats and well done to everyone who finished their 100 Day Projects last month!⁣ 🥳

#tbt to some of my favorite scavenger hunts I’ve done around Portland (and other cities!)⁣
⁣
I’m super excited to do more of these soon! What was your favorite? What would be your dream art scavenger hunt?⁣
⁣
Did you manage to find any of these? ☺️

@bookymargoof made me look so cute floating on a donut island since we donated to @scrapportland! Thanks friend! We love supporting creativity and reuse of materials!

Happy Day 43 of #the100dayproject--swipe for a short video clip of my bulletin board--it's getting filled up! I find this oddly satisfying to watch and I hope you like it too 😊 Here are my next set of connections:⁣
⁣
Day 43 / ko-kt⁣
Day 44 / ku-kz⁣
Day 45 / la-lg⁣
⁣
Do you have a 100 day project? I would love to check it out--seeing what others are creating and how they are interpreting this has been very inspiring. Please tell me about yours or leave your project's hashtag. Here are 5 of my favorites that I think you should take a look at:⁣
⁣
@bookymargoof #100paintpals⁣
@jennabrittonwrites #100miniessays⁣
@lisas_details #100daysofmemorygame⁣
@susanchiang_ #100daysof2x2s⁣
@everleafdesigns #100daysofminipatterns⁣
⁣
And if you have fallen a bit behind on your project, I think there is no better time than today to start back up again! I used to always feel that if I missed a day of a challenge or project that it's all over (anyone else? 🙋‍♀️) but who says it is--besides the silly voice in my head! I think it's a good practice of letting go of that perfectionism and knowing that every day is a new day and we can always start again.
