Been about 5 years since I last did some small food plots and a few weeks ago I picked up this little tiller on FB Marketplace for $50. A new fuel line and a carburetor tune up and she’s ready to go. Pics are the clover/chicory plot and brassica plot I did back in 2020. First order of business will be spraying in a few weeks. Stay tuned!! What’s your go to seed blend for deer? #foodplots #foodplotsfordeer #deer #huntpa #clover #sickforit🏹

Wow God is so good and absolutely blessed me last night! With the temperatures still being pretty warm, I went into this spot with the expectations of not seeing much and mainly on a mission to shoot a doe. This deer was the forth deer to enter the field around 6:10 and fed for almost a hour before presenting me with a shot. The shot placement was perfect as the arrow found its mark. As this deer season was short and sweet I’m blessed and extremely thankful!

Words can’t even begin to describe the way I’m feeling! Each day more and more Waylon has grown in every aspect of life and his passion for hunting has been growing. He won’t let me check trail cameras without him and knows every deer on my farms. When youth season came in he asked if we could deer hunt after soccer so after 4 games Saturday, Avery, Waylon, Kinley and I rushed to the farm to hunt, knowing it was going to be a good hunt! Barely getting into the blind the food plot filled up quickly with does and then the bucks started to show. With each buck showing up, Waylon was saying he was huge, but when this buck stepped out his focus shifted solely to this buck! 24 yard shot and a 130 yard 24 hour brutal recovery, Waylon has his 2nd buck ever and it’s a dang good one! #deerseason #fatherhood #outdoors #bowseason #whitetailhunting
