“Right from my childhood, I loved the idea of having a home for myself. I always drew a scenery with a house next to a lake, overlooking the mountains. Slowly, that idea changed to locating myself in cities for work opportunities. I traveled a lot for work and leisure, so feeling at home became more about safety and comfort. Today, it’s about enjoying every nook and corner of my space, filled with things that reflect my struggles, achievements, and friendships. Home is where I am with my loved ones, and it’s a safe space for people away from home. My house, like me, doesn’t follow trends but shares a story and immediately connects with people. I also feel home should look like a place that’s lived in, not perfect. You may come home for the first time and yet feel right at home. You’ll get involved in the kitchen, cleaning, and enjoying good music along with gardening. Home is where love and peace are in abundance.”

“I am a self-taught illustrator with over a decade of experience in the development sphere. I create powerful narratives through my art, vividly capturing the essence of Malayalee life and infusing my work with the rich cultural heritage of my roots in Kerala. My art addresses crucial societal issues such as consent, secularism, feminism, biodiversity and the struggles of marginalized communities. Beyond galleries, my creations integrate into everyday life, sparking meaningful conversations. -How do you like to unwind after a long day?
“I unwind by listening to music, watering my plants, napping, reading poems, watching documentaries, oiling my hair, or painting. My choice depends on my mood and the day. Right now, Delhi summers make me want to sleep and listen to beautiful songs under the fan.”

-A song you’re listening to on repeat lately?
“I listen to “Adam” by Fareed Ayaz, Abu Muhammad, and Humnawa, as well as “Hairaan Hua” by Sanam Marvi.”
