We’ve believed since our founding that the barber industry’s infrastructure needs to be built for the barber from the get go and from the ground up. BOOTH is becoming the platform we set out to build when we started ideating. We’re releasing a very important mode to our barbershop ecosystem, and that’s Client Mode: Client Mode lets barbers turn on bookings. We’ve made booking appointments lightning fast, and customizable with features like pre deposits, and service memberships. Barber Profiles + Booking: Every barber on BOOTH now has a bookable profile. Clients can find you, view your work, and book you directly through your personal link. Appointments: A full appointment system built into the platform. Manage your schedule, confirm bookings, and keep your day organized with our user focused interface. Contracts: Our goal as a company is to bring a higher standard of professionalism to the industry. Contracts are meant to bring operational clarity and security to both shop owners and barbers. Rewards: We’re a new type of company with a different way of doing things, a vision of a shared community that rewards hard work and consistency. We want to incentivize our users and bring more value to them instead of nickel and diming, and with that we’ve enabled rewards and loaded up our rewards portal with some of the dopest gear barbers can redeem. Light + Dark Mode: BOOTH now adapts to what you like. Work in light or dark, whichever fits your mood.

Barbershop owners! The empty chair at your barbershop just got easier to fill. You can now post job openings straight from your shop listing on BOOTH. Barbers can browse shops across the map, open a listing, and see open positions connected right to the profile. Tap a role to see the full breakdown and what the shop actually offers. When a barber finds the right fit, one tap sends an inquiry. One listing, fully connected to your shop, working for you around the clock. This is how we’re building a stronger, more connected barbershop ecosystem. Create your shop today at boothapp.co #barbers #barbershop #barberapp #ai #startup

Startup Update: Seeing 13 barbershops listed on the platform is a breakthrough. We’re testing a new offensive onboarding and targeting strategy this season — continuously building out the supply side of our double-sided marketplace. The barbershop directory is the foundation of our product right now: supply first, demand will follow. Soon barbers everywhere will know what they have access to in terms of locations & opportunity. My vision is for barbers and shop owners to go harder. Open more doors. Dream bigger. I envision a barber in Chicago being able to travel to Los Angeles and continue their craft on a temporary basis, growing their clientele and personal brand at the same time. All enabled through the infrastructure BOOTH is building. We’re creating a new category in barbershop technology: booth rental discovery and management. The platforms barbers use today handle appointments — none of them solve the booth rental side. That’s the gap & that’s our value. Not stopping now. So much beauty in the work ahead. This is only the beginning. Learn more about my story on why I’m building BOOTH and why I was destined to lead this. Also check out our #BuildingInPublic page. You can stay updated on platform development day by day & a new “founder’s journal” where I share behind the scenes conversations and thoughts as we take this project from pre-seed to seed... 🔗 www.boothapp.co/press 📖 www.boothapp.co/changelog #founderjourney #preseed #buildinpublic #chicagostartup

I’ve been a barber. From basement haircuts in high school — dorm bathroom haircuts in college — to working inside barbershops during and after. The barber industry has always found a way to reel me in. Now I run a creative barber studio in my city. I’ve lived this industry from every angle — and I always knew there was a better way to do this. So I built it. I’ve never been more locked in. More obsessed. More focused. And now it’s time to tell you the story. Every screen you see in this video — I designed it, developed it, and shipped it. This is @booth__app. A marketplace that connects barbershop owners with barbers looking for their next chair. A discovery platform so barbers can find the right space in their city. A management system so owners can see their business clearly — revenue, roster, scheduling, all in one place. Barbershop owners — you are the foundation of this platform. The supply side of BOOTH only grows when you list your shop. Every chair you put on here is another opportunity for a barber to find their home and for your business to grow. We need you in this. This doesn’t work without you. The barbershop ecosystem is rising in influence, in economic power, in culture. BOOTH is the platform built to match that energy and take it even further. We’re starting in Chicago. Home of the first barber college. A city that has defined barbering culture for generations. The right place to build something that changes the world. This is just v1. Book a demo at the link in bio. Let’s build the greatest barbershop ecosystem in the world — together.

@booth__app — The future of booth rentals starts here. A connected barbershop-to-barber experience. This is the vision behind the pre-launch landing page copy — to project what BOOTH will become as a product and platform. BOOTH is built to bring efficiency and more control in how barbershops and barbers work together. Shops list available chairs. Barbers can discover opportunities. Owners and barbers manage rentals within one shared system. Sharing UI dashboards from the desktop version of BOOTH . The final two screens reflect Barber Mode — how barbers discover listings and view shops from their side of the marketplace. Follow along as we build the operating system the barber industry has been missing. www.boothapp.co #startup #buildinpublic #chicagostartup #fundraising #barberindustry
