Finally, to everyone who made Friday night so special, THANK YOU. It means the world to finally bring this project to life and there is no Local Folks without you amazing people.

Trusting us with your evening isn’t lost on us and we hope you had as much fun experiencing it as we did curating it. This is only the beginning so we hope you’ll join us for the ride!

Dylan, thank you for bringing your passion for food to this table and trusting that it would be as delicious to everyone as I knew it would be. You’re talent in the kitchen was the backbone of the night.

Mimi, thank you for being an ear to talk through at all hours of the day, and a creative, vibe-curating partner who helped kick this whole idea off over a coffee in Venice months ago.

Much love, and stay tuned for the next event.

-Max.

Turkish Eggs with Citrus and Herbs 🍋🌿🍳🌶️

Your easy weekend brunch menu has arrived -

A protein, probiotic rich breakfast that will keep your taste buds, belly, and gut incredibly satisfied. 👏🏻

(Serves 2)

1 cup yogurt
2-3 garlic cloves, finely chopped or grated
3 tbsp butter
1.5 tbsp chili oil/ chili garlic
4 eggs
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
Fresh herbs like chives, parsley, mint, dill, cilantro
1 lemon, zested
Salt and pepper
Optional: crusty bread

1. In a medium bowl, combine yogurt and garlic. Spoon 1/2 of yogurt mixture into each serving bowl.
2. Fill a large sauce pan with water leaving 1 inch from the top and set over high heat to bring to a boil.
3. While water is boiling, make the chili butter. In a small saucepan, melt butter until starting to foam. Add the chili garlic and simmer for 1-2 minutes until combined. Set aside to cool.
4. When the water reaches a boil, turn down to simmer. Add in white wine vinegar and carefully break eggs to gently drop in the simmering water. Simmer with no lid for 4ish minutes, continuing to check the eggs are cooked but lifting up with a spoon to see if the egg whites are set.
5. Once the eggs are done, carefully place them on top of the yogurt in your serving bowls. Top with fresh herbs, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Serve with crusty bread and bon appetite!*chefs kiss*
