@bou.bou.s is a contemporary French bistro in Lisbon and one of my new favourite restaurants here. Food and service are equally excellent and the little garden in the back has the cutest atmosphere. Every single dish we had was a standout, impossible to pick a fave.

We had the most divine dinner last night with our good friends at @bou.bou.s in Principe Real ♥️. Every dish was a piece of art and every bite was phenomenal, I could stop eating 🤩!!! So no way could I possibly pick a fav, but make sure to start with either the crab salad or zucchini salad. They also have a fab wine list!🍷
✨Principe Real is such a gorgeous little neighborhood in Lisbon. Make sure you stroll around. If you're looking to grab a cheeky drink before dinner or grab a night cap after your meal then here's some suggestions in the comments🍸⬇️

I had the chance to be invited to @bou.bou.s to discover their new kitchen, more Parisian, more French bistrot, right in the heart of Lisbon!
The menu keeps the classics you’d expect from a bistrot, but it will change regularly with the seasons.
That night, we let the chef decide for us: a very summer menu, between tartares, fish, and everything that felt right for the season.
Our favorites of the night: the cold tomato and peach soup (divine), the seasonal citrus salad, the paris brest, and the pavlova.

There were also plenty of other dishes on the menu that looked right up my street: coquillettes, steak au poivre, semi cooked foie gras. Enough reasons to come back more than once just to try it all!
One of my favorite things about Boubou’s is the setting, super romantic.
And I love that the kitchen is open, I’m always so curious to watch chefs work through service.
For the wine, we let the team choose for us, and they poured us Infinitude at some point, a Lisbon wine we already love and buy regularly at home.
It’s actually the second or third time this has happened recently, it’s funny to see how it keeps finding its way onto some really lovely tables lately!

Small bonus: the playlist was genuinely great.

That was my first experience at Boubou’s, hoping to go back in another season to see what else they have in store 👀
Have you been?
