Don´t miss out the exhibition SHIFT, with personal drawings by @boukjebjanssen @hilsrobbe and @louise_vanderveld. The exhibition SHIFT presents the works of three artists who in recent years had to find a balance between their art practice and motherhood. The fact that this in no way detracted them from their desire to create is reflected in the drawings shown.
Although depicted by each of the artists in their own unique way, all works lead back to the experiences of the various shifts that human existence entails in different levels.
The exhibition runs till November 25th. The gallery is open Wed-Sat. 10-17hrs.

Excited! 🤩 From 7 May to 29 May, the international group exhibition The Return will take place in the Mesdagzaal of Pulchri Studio. The opening will take place on May 7th at 4 p.m. in in Pulchri Studio, The Hague. Feel free to join us! ❤️

Artists from Germany, Turkey, Italy and the Netherlands participate in the exhibition: Ruth Biller (DE), Sina Dyks (NL), Gaetano de Gregorio (IT), Boukje Janssen (NL), Ekin Su Koc (TR/DE) and Brigitte Spiegeler (NL).

The theme Return appeals to the imagination and raises fascinating questions. What do we relate to? Is a certain situation the same when we experience it again? Isn't everything we create always different? Or is it a circular motion? Do we return to the same point? The theme: 'The Return', the turning point, the desire to go back to a certain moment, a certain place or situation or to a still uninhibited state of being. The friction between what is and what was or is desired.

This theme affects everyone in a personal way. It affects not only the artists involved, but every individual, especially in the present day.

In addition to this exhibition, the concept of which was developed by Brigitte Spiegeler, there will be various seminars, organized by deLex Media, in line with the theme The Return on Art & Law. Here, various international experts come together in sub seminars to discuss legal aspects such as the restitution of art, intellectual property rights and the practicalities of creating, trading and collecting art.
