For the last year, I’ve been getting in 3–4 sessions a week on the elliptical, followed by some stretching at @bouncegym. I’ve also had the occasional physio session with @jt_the_pt (painful 😬, but helped massively!) to keep everything ticking over.

It’s become a proper part of my routine, and I can really feel the difference in my running and races.

None of this makes it onto @strava, but staying consistent and putting the work in seems to be paying off!

International break…and it feels long right!! Made the most of it with various remote players flying in for testing or in person sessions.

Nice for myself to get moving properly again - broke my toe aaaaages ago now but held me back so much. I’m setting myself a challenge soon so I’m just working up to it so I don’t break before I start 😆🙏🏽

Pleasure to have @kamil.sochan over from Poland to see what’s under the hood. Spoiler: a machine apparently 🤣 Kamil and I work together online so it was great to properly meet him, and to see him and assess him in person. After bringing most of my toys and smashing all the testing, I created a report which will help us drive his programming and continue upgrading this scary beast - Elstrakslasa - beware, coming to a stadium near you! 🤪🧨

June has been a busy one! I started early with various players at home, before heading over for my debut in Michigan to see my guy @popa.13 - the hospitality there was incredible (his dad made me drink more alcohol than I have all year - 2 beers and a shot 🤣). Swipe to the end to see the Cybertruck driving itself 🤯

I then came back for a week of busy sessions before again jetting off, this time for an off season with a player in Kosovo (where I am now!) These last 2 weeks are my last of the off season, with many of my tailored guys already back at their clubs!

I’ve signed up quite a few new players for this upcoming season - it’s going to be another big one! Strap in 😁

16 years old (and my birthday twin 🥳)

Mahdi made his 21s debut at just 15 (I was there) regularly trains with the first team and was instrumental in Chelsea’s U18 PL National final destroying Man City at Stamford Bridge 🔥

What stands out most to me isn’t his age. It’s his mentality.

The willingness to learn.
The professionalism.
The work ethic.
The obsession with improving.

Talent opens doors. Attitude keeps them open. This is just the beginning.

🥈 VICE AFRICAN CHAMPION🥈

The final was decided by the finest of margins against Ivory Coast 🇨🇮, with the third round slipping away by just a single point in the final 10 seconds.

This medal is a reflection of sacrifice, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to becoming the very best.

Winning a senior championship medal on the international stage is no easy feat. Very few athletes ever reach this level.

A huge thank you to the people behind the scenes who make performances like this possible: @physio_rio @reishahull , @chotimetkd @craigybtkd , and our incredible team at Peak Performance. Unfortunately no podium photo, had to rush off to the airport to catch a flight ✈️ 😅

From not being allowed to change in the same changing room as the other boys at school to finding pals and community at the gym - I am proud of the perspective shift I've worked hard to achieve with being in fitness spaces.

It's not always easy and things definitely crop up... fears of judgement or worries that I'll not fit in. But history doesn't have to repeat itself. Just because we were excluded as kids doesn't mean we're not welcome as adults.

Especially when that's not even relevant to why we are there.

Getting stronger has helped me feel more me - as a queer person, as someone who's creative, as someone who has struggled with mental endurance, as someone who has a lot of spinning plates - it's a full body and mind kind of job.

So if anyone's worried theyre not going to fit in, or that their past experiences are too big to get past, know that you can and you will find your own way. At your own pace.

Do it for yourself! Do it for your younger self who just wanted to join in and learn more about your own body.

They deserve it.
