HURRICANE REVIEW!!! @drinkseelbachs has a new 12 Year Double Oak bourbon that will be available on 10/23/2026 which is perfect for a Halloween pour!! It’s a 12 year, 2 month bourbon from Kentucky that was then aged an additional 18 months in a new Zak Cooperage barrel made with 72 month air dried staves. In my opinion that addition aging really helps the dark chocolate notes and deep oak I was getting come through. Blake and the team hit a huge home run with this! I appreciate them sending me a sample and I can’t wait to get this bottle when it post on their website! Cheers everyone! #bourbon #drinkseelbachs #whiskeyreview #hurricaneisaias

People continually ask me what my favorite bottles are, or they watch my end of the year videos and find things to check out too late. We are now into the last quarter of the year, so here are a few of my favorite pours so far in 2026 that run a multitude of categories and wont cost you 800 dollars on secondary.

Send this to someone looking for something new to try or save it for later.

Let me hear what your favorite bottles have been so far in 2026 down in the comments. 👇🏽

🥃 BOTTLE REVIEW – SEELBACH'S 21 Year Light Whiskey – Pro Release

🔥 Seelbach's Pro Release
🕰️ 21 Years Old
⚡ 145.4 Proof (Hazmat)

Can a 145.4-proof whiskey actually be this drinkable?

When I saw the proof, I expected an absolute flamethrower.

What I got instead was one of the most flavorful and surprisingly balanced American Light Whiskeys I've had.

👃 Nose: Huge notes of vanilla bean, butterscotch, caramel corn, toasted marshmallow, and crème brûlée explode from the glass. Layers of toasted oak, maple syrup, and sweet baking spices continue to develop with every swirl.
👅 Palate: This is pure dessert. Thick waves of vanilla frosting, caramel, brown butter, honey, and toffee completely coat the palate before cinnamon, toasted oak, and a touch of dark chocolate arrive. Despite the 145.4 proof, the heat is remarkably well integrated, allowing the sweetness and complexity to shine.
🔥 Finish: Long, warm, and seemingly endless. Caramelized sugar, vanilla, oak, and baking spices linger for minutes, leaving behind the signature rich sweetness that makes great light whiskey so addictive.

✅ Verdict
This is exactly why aged American Light Whiskey has become one of my favorite categories.

The proof is massive, but it's the flavor that steals the show. Rich, decadent, and unbelievably smooth for nearly 146 proof.

If you're a fan of hazmat bottles or dessert-style whiskeys, this is one you don't want to miss.

One of Seelbach's best Pro Releases to date and an absolute must-try for light whiskey fans.

Blake and his crew at Seelbach’s are tasting and vetting every bottle they sell. If it doesn’t meet their standard it doesn’t make it. Must be overwhelming at times I may have some availability.#angryirishmac #bourbon #whiskey #bourbonpassion #bourbonreviews
