I am excited to announce that I was selected to participate in the @artharlem Harlem Open Artist Studio Tour (HOAST). HOAST features emerging and internationally recognized visual artists as well as authors and poets reading from their work. Artwork is on view at studios, traditional loft spaces, and converted bedrooms, and the art ranges from cutting-edge new media and outsider art to more traditional styles or representation and abstraction.

This will be a 2 day event happening THIS WEEKEND, October 18 & October 19th from noon to 6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

I will be presenting my art (FOR SALE) at Studio 8, HERSPACE NYC (304 W 133rd St.) alongside painter Christian Winslow and sculptor Tamar Michaeli. I will also be reciting original poetry and playing original music.

Thank you to my supporters and The Bow & Arrow Press (@bowarrowpress) specifically Jonathan Biderman (@jonathanleroybiderman) and Heather Hughes (@birdmaddgirl) for graciously initiating me into the practice of linocut printmaking! #linocut #linocutprint #artevent #arteventnyc #harlem

Surprise! The show doesn’t officially open until next week, but it’s all done, and looking beautiful, so we opened the doors this morning.

Some shots from the Open Press Afternoon with the Bow & Arrow crowd. We’ve got a great turnout for a moist June day, and Mr. Goose got into the action -- both drawing on large pieces of backer board with Sharpies (fun!) and assembling a form of blocks and cuts for printing (even more fun!).

We are pleased to announce that Houghton Library will serve as the new home for the historic Bow & Arrow Press. Our Printing and Graphic Arts department will run the printing studio in Lamont Library, where it will be ideally situated to continue to serve the University community, with a special emphasis on students at Harvard College. Programming for the new space will begin following the move. Read the full announcement here: https://bit.ly/3BrEgse
