🏉 ROUND 5 PREVIEW | REGIONAL 1 NORTH EAST & NORTH WEST

Another big Saturday of rugby awaits as Regional 1 North returns on 24 October! 🔥

With four rounds played, the league tables are beginning to take shape, but there is plenty of rugby still to be played and valuable points up for grabs across both divisions.

🟢 REGIONAL 1 NORTH EAST

Northern lead the way after a perfect start, with four wins from four, but Alnwick are hot on their heels, just one point behind. Scunthorpe sit third and are also making an early statement.

This weekend, all eyes will be on Middlesbrough v Alnwick as the hosts face one of the division’s early pace-setters. Can Alnwick keep the pressure on Northern?

North Ribblesdale host Scunthorpe in another intriguing clash, while Ilkley welcome Blaydon. Hull take on Driffield, Northern face Scarborough, and Sandal meet York.

🔵 REGIONAL 1 NORTH WEST

The North West is shaping up to be another fiercely competitive campaign, with plenty of important head-to-head encounters on the schedule.

Dronfield host Bowdon, Kendal take on Blackburn, and Rochdale face Stockport. Vale of Lune welcome Macclesfield, Leek meet Anselmians, and Rossendale v Wirral rounds off a fascinating set of fixtures.

With teams looking to build momentum and climb the table, every result could prove important as the season develops.

👀 THE BIG QUESTION

Which clubs will strengthen their early-season position, and who will produce a result to shake up the tables?

🏉 REGIONAL ONE — WEEKEND PREVIEW 🏉

Round 3 is here… and both leagues are already starting to take shape! 👀

🔴 REGIONAL 1 NORTH EAST

It’s Northern at the top, with Alnwick and Blaydon right behind them — and Saturday brings a huge clash between two of those early pace-setters.

🔥 Blaydon v Alnwick — 2nd vs 3rd
🔥 Middlesbrough v Northern — can the league leaders keep their perfect start?
⚔️ North Ribblesdale v York
⚔️ Hull v Scarborough
⚔️ Driffield v Scunthorpe
⚔️ Ilkley v Sandal

There’s very little between a number of sides already, meaning one result could completely change the look of the table.

🔵 REGIONAL 1 NORTH WEST

And if you thought the North East was tight… 👀

Four teams are still unbeaten and sitting on 10 points!

🔥 Bowdon v Macclesfield
🔥 Dronfield v Stockport
🔥 Blackburn v Wirral
⚔️ Kendal v Leek
⚔️ Rossendale v Rochdale
⚔️ Vale of Lune v Anselmians

Stockport, Wirral, Macclesfield and Anselmians have all made perfect starts — but with those teams facing some seriously interesting challenges this weekend, could we see the first real separation at the top?
