Here he is, my 2026 Wyoming archery antelope. Lucky enough to have found him bedded in some shade when we were about to take a quick lunch break. I was able to sneak in for a very quick 30 yard shot and he went no where. You’ve got to be thankful when it works out. #wyomingarcheryantelope #wyominghunting #archeryantelope #archeryhunting #wyomingantelope

Our public lands belong in public hands. They are one of the last things we the people have left. Remember what they’ve been trying to do over the last two years and hold them accountable. 🇺🇸

I”m not usually one for lectures on Instagram but this s*^% is important. Wyomings primary is tomorrow (August 18th) - it’s the election that counts in an overwhelmingly republican state. Early voting is open today at local court houses and tomorrow at polling places. Not voting is just a lazy way of abdicating your power. I know you’re as sick of the ugly campaigning as I am, it is meant to get you to stay home. Don’t let the mud slinging, ugly behavior win. We can vote people in who don’t partake in that…. But we have to show up.

Vote now. Show up now. Be an active part of your own future. #vote #primaryelection #wyoming

Have you ever caught a big ass whip spider while inside of a cave in the Amazon rainforest? No? Well I highly recommend it. Life is short after all.

Devon Energy employees recently spent the day giving back in Campbell County, Wyoming, helping install a wildlife guzzler to support local habitat and wildlife conservation.

Our team was proud to work alongside volunteers from the Wyoming Conservation Corps, the Bureau of Land Management and Bowhunters of Wyoming to complete this important project. Partnerships like these help strengthen the communities where we live and work while supporting responsible stewardship of Wyoming’s natural resources.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project a success!

The SLR Broadhead was engineered to reduce drag, minimize lift, and increase aerodynamic stability throughout flight. Less lift means less fishtailing, reduced wind drift, and greater confidence when conditions aren’t perfect.

Add an SLR Broadhead to your quiver this season and hunt with a broadhead engineered to stay on course.

When an arrow leaves the bow in a crosswind, it doesn’t just see the wind. It sees a combined airflow from the speed of the arrow and the crosswind, creating an angle that causes an initial sideways kick as the arrow realigns with the airflow.

The SLR Broadhead was engineered with minimal lift, reducing that initial kick and helping the arrow align more quickly due to increased aerodynamic stability. Less lift.

Less movement. Less wind drift.
Keep an SLR Broadhead in your quiver for those windy days when accuracy matters most.

After an exciting stalk through the wide open and strong winds — including slipping past a beautiful trophy red lechwe at 100 yards — I got into position on this old impala ram.

An arrow at 80 yards sealed the deal. Once I walked up and laid hands on him, his missing front teeth told the story of just how old and tough he was.

These are the moments that make hunting so special — the stalk, the patience, the respect for an animal that’s survived years in the wild. Grateful for the experience and the memories that come with it.

Burchell's Zebra. Such a beautiful animal, and one that had always been high on my wishlist for an eventual hunt opportunity. The initial stalk into the herd resulted in holding at full draw for a minute and a half, followed by a letdown, as the only zebra that presented a shot in my shooting lane was a mare with foal. A second stalk (that took us up and down the mountain) was successful. We got within 40y of a small group, sat and waited 30 minutes for a shot opportunity, and I was finally presented with a clean 35 yard shot through a small shooting lane as the herd walked down a trail. One arrow later, and I can check this animal off my dream list.

For bowhunters looking to prevent broken arrows on hard impacts, the Iron Will Reinforced HIT System delivers added strength and durability where arrows fail most often. Proper prep, clean surfaces, controlled heat, and full adhesive coverage all play a role in building a stronger front end system.

Using Iron Will Hot Melt Adhesive allows for quick installation while creating a secure bond designed to handle repeated target impacts and hard hits on bone.
Small details during the build process make a big difference in arrow durability, accuracy, and penetration.
