POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thanks for the tag @black_hobbit86! 👻

So here’s my stack to spell out October.
-Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson
-Carrie by Stephen King
-True Grit by Charles Portis
-Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
-Butcher’s Crossing by John Willams
-Elantris by Brando Sando
-Rhythm of War by Mr. Brandon Sanderson again.

(Shoutout to my smaller books for holding on together between OB and RoW, they’re both VERY chunky books)

Out of all the months of the year, October is my favorite month. I love the cool weather, even in SoCal, all things Halloween and spooky. From watching horror movies and shows to reading horror books it’s just so right. Though I’d love to visit a place where the leaves change into that classic autumn colors.

Any spooky books you’ve read or currently reading?

The FINALE for the Final FMC Readathon! The Killers are going up against the Good Girls in a classic slasher showdown! ❤️‍🔥🔪

It’s the final round and Chucky and Tiffany wanna play! So it looks like it’s the Good Girls versus the “Good Guys” in a haunted house for our last round. We’ll see if the Good Girls get a sequel!

Here are our week five pulls and their prompts!
🩸 Killer Card is Chucky and Tiffany
- books with toys on the cover or in the plot
- a novel with an FMC killer
- a story featuring a possession

🩸 Location Card is Haunted House
- a book with a house on the cover

I am FINALLY finishing “The Silenced” this week after it being in my pile of possibilities for weeks now! Some of my other choices that were on my TBR unfortunately don’t have a lot of bonus points from prompts but it’ll still put up points with its pages! We’ll have to see if it’ll be enough to take down the Good Girls 😈 #finalfmcreadathon

My pile of possibility for this week! “The Silenced” is FINALLY getting read! 😅

Final FMC Readathon Update! The Goths have joined the dark side with The Killer Team! The plan is in motion for our team to take the big win! 😜😈

As the readathon moves on, we’re past our halfway point and continuing the fun with Michael Myers as our new killer prompt and he’s taking over the school!

Here are our week four pulls and their prompts!
🩸Killer Card is Michael Myers
- books that deal with obsession
- a book that’s part of a 4+ series
- novels that involve a holiday

🩸Location Card is Schoolhouse
- stories with school settings

Last week was a fantastic reading week (regardless of the fact that I’ve been sick and out of it. 🫠😅) Looking forward to a new week of taking out FMC teams! #finalfmcreadathon

My pile of possibility for this week! I know I promised a reel update with reviews of my recent reads but getting sick got rid of that idea.

Even more reason for yall to become a part of my Simply Sweeties tier on Patreon! I’ll be posting an epic vlog of me reading throughout the readathon for September rewards! 😅

Recap of round one (Sept 1-6) and the points I earned for the Good Girls 🎀
This is the first readathon I’ve participated in and it’s really fun. This is the most I’ve read all year and I’m glad to be finding joy in reading again.

Final FMC Readathon Update! The Killer Team has corrupted another one and this time it’s The Cheerleaders! Welcome to the dark side 😈❤️‍🔥

The Readathon moves forward and we’re starting to strategize to take out some strong FMCs! Look out because going into week three, Pennywise is looking for some “fun” at your local carnival and nobody’s safe!

Here are our week three pulls and their prompts!
🩸Killer Card is Pennywise
- books with clowns
- book you’re afraid to read
- books that feature children or coming of age

🩸Location Card is Carnival
- stories with a carnival, fair, circus, or amusement park setting

I’m finally knocking out some books that have been on my TBR for FAR TOO LONG this week!
- “Tender is the Flesh” by Agustina Bazterrica
- “Detained” by D. Esperanza
- “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins

Let’s take out some more FMCs Killer Team! 😜 #finalfmcreadathon

My pile of possibilities for this week! A halfway point reel of reviews is coming soon! ❤️‍🔥

Also for my Patrons of all tiers, expect a decorate video of the entire house coming soon! I’ll show you how I came up with the vintage costume shop theme in my kitchen this year! 🎃

In the month of September I am doing the Final FMC readathon - made by @bowsbooks 🖤
I am having a blast with this readathon. Very short - the more books you read, the more points your team gets. Better not loose and get corrupted by the killer!

I get very competitive so I decided to read one of the longest books I own - The Stand by @stephenking because this gave my team so much points 😂

My opinion on The Stand? It was interesting, but sadly not my favorite from him. It was definitly way to long with its 1211 pages 🧐

🩸 Book 2 for Final FMC Read-a-thon 🩸

My team was IMMEDIATELY corrupted by the killer, so now I'm reading for slasher points and we're out for blood! 😂

Oh well, I'm super looking forward to this book and I'm excited to see if I can fit a couple more books in at work this week (4 Libby holds came in all at once 🙃)

Happy -ber months, I hope it's cooler in your neck of the woods.

❓What are y'all reading this month❓

Final FMC Readathon Update! Well, I guess there’s a reason there aren’t too many Rebel Final FMCs. My team has been corrupted and are now Killers! 😭😅 But don’t worry, nothing is scary than a Rebel looking for REVENGE.

The Readathon continues but now we’re looking to take out the other Final FMC teams! Going into week two, Freddy’s now on the lose in an abandoned asylum and we’re looking to turn some nightmares into reality! 👹

Here are our week two pulls and their prompts!
🩸 Killer Card is Freddy Krueger
- books with dreams, sleep, or nightmares as the plot
- fire on the cover
- published or set in the 80s

🩸 Location Card is Abandoned Asylum
- stories with mental health representation

Just because I’m now on the Killer team doesn’t mean I’m not still a Rebel at heart! I’m reading tons of banned books this week!
- “Tar Baby” by Toni Morrison
- “1984” by George Orwell
- “Fahrenheit 451” by Ray Bradbury

And while I may not be cosplaying as Rebel Final FMCs in the rest of my videos this month, expect some of my favorite killers instead! Let’s go Killer Team! 😈 #finalfmcreadathon

My pile of possibilities for this week! Expect some great reviews coming this week for my last reads! ❤️‍🔥

Also yes, MY HALLOWEEN DECOR IS OFFICIALLY UP! Yall know I never miss the first week of September! I don’t care how hot outside it is 😅
