Pretty impressive performance from Scotsman Aaron Sarwar.

He worked really well at range in the first round, before adopting more of a hybrid approach in the second and third, mixing a high guard with catch-and-shoot counters, lateral movement and rangey counter-punching.

There was one sequence in the fight where he was absolutely magnificent for about 20–30 seconds. Countering and pivoting off, getting his shots away before his opponent could reset, rolling underneath the incoming shots, then catching and shooting again.

It was just a complete boxing masterclass in that little spell. Really impressive stuff from Sarwar.

2x EUROPEAN CHAMPION 🥇🏆🇪🇺

Winning the Europeans for a second time making history means more to me than I can put into words. All the hard work, sacrifices and dedication have made this moment so special, and I’m so proud to be able to call myself European Champion. ❤️

A massive thank you to Doghouse Boxing, Boxing Scotland and all my sponsors for believing in me, supporting me and giving me this opportunity. I’m so grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey and helped me get to where I am today. None of it would be possible without you all.
