Hosted the first Artist Accountability Group last week and i can’t express how grateful i am to be in community with such incredible artists. And that is the biggest takeaway for me as an artist. community is at the core of everything that is ART. The systems within the music industry are built to extract and devalue community, which is why coming back to community is the most important thing that we can do to reclaim our power as artists. camaraderie > competition. Create your space!
