The summer slowdown has commenced! Which means Monday night music is back! 🎶

Coletrain Music Academy is teaming up with @coyotemezcalbv for Mezcal & Music Mondays - bringing live local and regional music to South Main every Monday from 7–9pm.

We’re kicking things off October 5th with @supnod_, a super cool project from the one-and-only Eric Halborg of @dragondeer, joined by Tyler Chambers of @dirty6.wav. From there, we’ve got a full October lineup and plenty more music rolling into November.

We’ve done our best to mix things up for you - bringing in local faves alongside some new buddies we’ve been lucky enough to catch while they’re passing through town.

Swipe for the lineup, grab a mezcal, shop the hat bar, and settle in for live music.

Sip. Style. Sing.

We are Laura Goldhamer and Alex Ammons, and after performing as a duo for for many years, we would like to reintroduce ourselves as Bathtub Mary!

Bathtub Mary is reference to outdoor shrines constructed by burying an old bathtub vertically in the ground, and placing a statue of Mary/Guadalupe/Madonna in the center. We’re not church-going gays exactly, but we fuck with the sacred, queerness as holy, and playing music as a communion with each other, the divine, and all yall that we play for.

Thanks for being here, stick around for vids and show updates! -BTM

Alex Ammons and Laura Goldhamer of Bathtub Mary join Indra Raj in KGNU’s new studios for a live session featuring songs by Ammons, including “The Thread,” “The Canticle of Consent,” and “Crone.” The two musicians also talk about their musical journeys and their connections to Colorado’s vibrant music community.

Ammons shares the story behind the Honey House Concert Series, an intimate backyard concert series bringing local musicians and audiences together in Denver. They also discuss Goldhamer’s work as a clawhammer banjo player and the Hive Choir, a community singing project.

🛸 INTERCEPTED SIGNAL! ⚡️

A tiny transmission from our recent live show! Here is a peek at the song “Rainbow Vision” by Laura Goldhamer & The Rainbow Show. 🌈✨Look closely and you’ll see the Nice Pirates in action, sending out frequencies of radical kindness, imagination, and intergalactic solidarity. The universe has been feeling a little monochromatic lately, but we believe that when we acknowledge our interwoven well-being, we find the key to move freely through time and space again. Snag some toy instruments, open up your 3rd eyeball, and jam along with us! 🪕🥁👇

Who is in your crew that helps you see life’s rainbows? Tag a fellow space traveler below!
