As I get older, the people I surround myself with become increasingly dear to my heart. Every year I look back at my photos and almost don’t recognize myself, both physically and mentally. This past year has been a whirlwind of change (all for the better self and the plot). I moved to NYC, went to burning man, got into grad school, left a draining job, started making music again, and ultimately met some new and fostered some old life-long cool-ass friends. Experiencing life to the fullest is about the people and the motivation to do what you feel pulled towards: in your career, where you travel to, your love life, your creativity, where you live, whatever it is to express yourself. Think a little bit (but not too much), and just do because those little voices in your head will shut you down quick if you don’t.

Life is kinda crazy, and that’s the right way to live it. Crazy ups and crazy downs, but we always come out the other end stronger than ever. Study the downs and adapt because what other options do we have, right? Our dreams are our biggest strengths. Truly. I shrive to be the dad in the future that shares all his sick stories to his kids. The gift of ambition and drive to live their life to the fullest.

This next decade will be rad as hell, and the best years are still ahead.
