Before I erase the board and start a new week, I like to take a minute and reflect on the one I just lived. I revisit some of the memories, the work, the little moments, and how I felt along the way. Then I thank God for all of it, cuz let’s be honest, I wouldn’t be able to do any of it without Him. 😮‍💨 This week was a good one. I worked, trained, made weight, competed, stayed healthy, and got to do something I love. It’s pretty cool to look back and see how far you’ve come, knowing there was a time when some of the things written on this board were only goals. Then you erase it… And do it all over again. 😂 New week. New memories. More work to do. Down for it. Thank You, God, for another week. 🙏🏼 #WeeklyReflection #thankyougod

This weekend, the boys and I got to enjoy a piece of God’s creation. 🌲☀️ The weather was perfect. The birds were chirping. A woodpecker tapped away all day while we just took in the stillness and the strength that comes from slowing down together. What made it even more meaningful was the time to connect — to really talk. About life. About what we want, what we need, and everything in between. These kinds of conversations don’t just bring us closer… they elevate us. As men, we’re often conditioned to carry it all alone. To “man up,” suppress, isolate, and figure it out on our own. But I’ve learned that’s not strength — that’s survival. Real strength is being surrounded by brothers who challenge you, support you, and remind you that you’re not in this fight alone. We’re all at different points in our journey, but we’re moving in the same direction. The different perspectives only deepen the wisdom and love we share. I’m beyond grateful for my “large group of men.” I honestly don’t know where I’d be without them. Gym #189 📸: @bpn.03 1️⃣ What’s your gym’s name? (If it has one) The Church 2️⃣ How long have you had a homegym? Since 2012, on Version 6. 3️⃣ Where are you located in the world? Southern California 4️⃣ Where is your gym located in your home? Outside shed 5️⃣ What’s your preferred brand of equipment and why? I like the American Made brands, yet can’t pass up a good deal on FB Marketplace or OfferUp. 6️⃣ What do you think you’ve spend in total on equipment? Overall to make the space your own? If my wife ask -$350 Man math - 3k with buying and selling equipment Actual - over 12k 7️⃣ What equipment/thing do you find the most useful? Power Rack, Barbell, Weights is all you need imo, everything else is just fluff 8️⃣ What would you do if you could start all over again? If I had to start over today I would probably invest in a power rack with cable attachment, just to save some space. Also better mirror placements so I stop breaking them. 9️⃣ What’s next for the space? Examples: New equipment, painting walls, expanding the footprint, rearranging. Etc. I’m pretty happy with this new version, yet would love to build a bigger shed in the north 40 - like Rich Froning has lol
