Ain’t nothin’ like a MORGAN girl.
Ain’t nothin’ like a SIGMA woman.

For the FIRST time in MSU history, Miss Morgan is a SGRHO, You think I’d miss that?

My last Homecoming was five years ago.
Campus felt like a museum! EVERYTHING is different but in the best ways possible. Dr. Wilson got moneyyyyy and we love to see it!

I wasn’t meant to attend any other uni.
I wasn’t meant to pledge any other sorority.
Morgan State changed my life. 💙🐻🧡

Another crab feast with my favorite people! My sorors are my family…my sisters…my heart in Poodle form. Shout out to BankRholls for starting the Poodle legacy, and MenACE to Σociety for continuing it alongside me. It’s an honor to have you both as my cousins, sorors, and sisters. You guys make this sisterhood mean THAT MUCH MORE to me. Of course you know Uncle Pig gonna rep his Marsh girls every year in his outfit and I’m here for it 😂😂😂. Gotta love that crazy man. To my cousins Shawna, Ty, Tyree (not pictured), Amor and Juicy, thanks for always coming to have fun with the baddest in the land. It was a joy to see you both. Last but not least, to my husband, thank you for it all! Without you, I wouldn’t have been alive to see another crab feast. Without you, I wouldn’t have fought so hard for my life! Cheers to another successful Margarite J. Woods Annual Crab Feast hosted by Thee Amazingly Accomplished Alpha Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter, whom I have the privilege to be a member of!

I am my sister’s keeper.
What she does, I do.
What she knows, I know.
If she is unable to do, so am I.
If she doesn’t know it, neither do I.
We are as one.
All for one, one for all, or none.
I shall never forget this so long as I shall live.
Sigmas stick together.
Win together.
Lose together.
And die together.
If I am able to keep this as my motto,
Then I can be a true Sigma!

An unforgettable day on Capitol Hill.

The best part? The Ryan Institute, LLC ( @learnwithryan) Senior Advisory Board Member and mother of our Co-Founder Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. Iveda Williams ( @vedagrliam ) made it in from California to witness in person.

This summer was one for the books ☀️💛
From teaching and mentoring to being a Director’s Fellow, to volunteering wherever I could, and completing my third summer of Project Hydration my heart is so full.✨

I’m so grateful for all the opportunities, experiences, and people who made this summer so special. While I’m excited to see what this fall will bring, I’ll always be thankful for everything this summer gave me. 🫶🏽✨

Here’s to a new season and all that’s ahead! 🍂
