The scale was never the whole story.

Some things don’t show up in a number… only in what you go through.

Generation after generation,
it was like a constant cycle…

So there came a time when choosing me became vital.

Addiction, abandonment, and abuse,
I carried it all, with no excuse.

See, what I was carrying couldn’t be weighed on a scale.

And even though life got heavy…
I refused to fail.

So while the scale told a number,
it couldn’t tell my truth.

It measured my body…
but not how much I grew.

I’m walking a path, this time, in my truth.

Weight… There’s More.

7 days until I share a story I’ve carried for years.

But the fear, the grief, the self-doubt, the people-pleasing, and the healing that came with it.

“What do you do with that product?”

That question sat with me for a long time.

What do you do with a child raised in survival mode?
A child carrying pain, trauma, statistics, and broken pieces before she even fully understood what any of it meant?

For a while, I thought those things would define me.

But somewhere along the way, I learned that broken things aren’t always meant to be thrown away.
Sometimes they’re meant to be rebuilt.
Reimagined.
Turned into something meaningful.

That’s why Weight, There’s More means so much to me.

Because the heaviest things I’ve ever carried were never physical.

And I know I’m not the only one carrying invisible weight.

For those of you who are new here, you may think my story started with weight loss.

But the truth is… the conversation started years ago.

Before the surgery.
Before the transformation photos.
Before the numbers changed.

The message has always been the same.

Weight isn’t always physical.
Sometimes it’s grief.
Sometimes it’s survival.
Sometimes it’s the invisible things we carry every single day.

And now, I’m finally giving that story the space it deserves.

It’s time I finally stop WEIGHTing to exhale and release all the things that have clung to me for far too long.

I spent so much time WEIGHTing for permission to let go, and now I realize more than ever that I never needed anyone’s permission but my own.

I welcome you to join me on June 14, 2026, as we put all of that weight down together.

It’s time to stop measuring your worth by the number on the scale, because it has never told the whole story.

The scale can measure how much you weigh, but it cannot measure the grief, the trauma, the insecurity, the survival, or the strength it took to keep showing up.

They told us if we changed our bodies, we’d finally feel lighter.
Nobody talks about the weight of survival.
The weight of being the strong friend.
The weight of silence, insecurity, heartbreak, pressure, grief, and pretending you’re okay.

That’s the weight I’m unpacking.

Because healing was never just physical for me. 🤎

It’s no secret, I had surgery and lost weight.

And then I realized the physical weight wasn’t the hardest to lose.

See nobody talks about what happens AFTER the transformation.

After the surgery.
After the glow up.
After everybody congratulates you and moves on.

What happens when you’re standing in a new body still carrying the same grief?
The same survival habits?
The same version of yourself built around being “the strong one”?

The scale changed.
But the story was just beginning.

WEIGHT, THERE’S MORE is not a weight loss story.
It’s about the woman becoming.

June 14th is not just a podcast launch.
It’s a declaration that the scale was NEVER the whole story.

Every label they gave me tried to become my name.

Addiction.
Foster kid.
Alone.
Broken.
Unworthy.

They stuck.
Not because they were true…
But because nobody taught me how to peel them off.

So I carried them. Built a life on top of them.
Smiled through them. Succeeded with them.

Until I realized…
just because something was placed on me
doesn’t mean it belongs to me.

Now I’m choosing what stays.
And what never gets to touch me again.

The scale was never the only thing weighing me down.

What if the heaviest things you’re carrying don’t have any weight at all?

No bags. No boxes. Nothing you can sit down and walk away from.

Just words…
Stuck to you.
Like they were always meant to be there.
Like they found you before you even had language to question them.

I’ve been thinking about the first time I believed something heavy about myself.
And honestly… I can’t even pinpoint it.

But that’s the point.

It’s not one moment.
It’s a hundred small ones.
In silence. In absence.
In what the world reflects back to you when you’re too young to challenge it.

Addiction was in my house before I understood what it takes from people.
Foster care taught me things about belonging that I’m still unlearning.
And “ugly” was a word that found me before I ever knew beauty was mine to claim.

And I carried it.
Quietly.
Functionally.
Successfully… even.

Because that’s what we do.
We build whole lives on top of the weight
instead of dealing with what’s underneath it.

But here’s what I know now…

You can be thriving and still be tired.
You can be healed in some places and still be bleeding in others.
You can look okay and still be holding something
that is slowly… quietly… wearing you down.

This podcast exists because I got tired of pretending the weight wasn’t heavy.

Weight, There’s More is almost here.

More than a podcast.
More than a conversation.

It’s a permission slip…
to finally put it down.
