7 days.

7 days until I share a story I’ve carried for years.

Not just the weight I lost…
But the fear, the grief, the self-doubt, the people-pleasing, and the healing that came with it.

Because the scale was never the full story.

On June 14, I’m officially launching Weight, There’s More and I can’t wait to bring you into this next chapter with me.

If you’ve ever felt weighed down by something no one could see, this space is for you.

The countdown is on. 🤎

“What do you do with that product?”

That question sat with me for a long time.

What do you do with a child raised in survival mode?
A child carrying pain, trauma, statistics, and broken pieces before she even fully understood what any of it meant?

For a while, I thought those things would define me.

But somewhere along the way, I learned that broken things aren’t always meant to be thrown away.
Sometimes they’re meant to be rebuilt.
Reimagined.
Turned into something meaningful.

That’s why Weight, There’s More means so much to me.

Because the heaviest things I’ve ever carried were never physical.

And I know I’m not the only one carrying invisible weight.

For those of you who are new here, you may think my story started with weight loss.

But the truth is… the conversation started years ago.

Before the surgery.
Before the transformation photos.
Before the numbers changed.

The message has always been the same.

Weight isn’t always physical.
Sometimes it’s grief.
Sometimes it’s survival.
Sometimes it’s the invisible things we carry every single day.

And now, I’m finally giving that story the space it deserves.

This is more than a rebrand.
More than a podcast.

This is the weight you never measured.

Before there was Weight, There’s More, there was Dear Fat Girl.

Because fat was never just physical.
Sometimes it was a mindset.
Sometimes it was fear.
Sometimes it was survival.
Sometimes it was everything I carried that no one could see.

This isn’t a new conversation.
It’s a continuation of the truth I’ve been telling for years.

The message is the same.
The story just goes deeper.

Weight, There’s More.
This is the weight you never measured.

It’s time I finally stop WEIGHTing to exhale and release all the things that have clung to me for far too long.

I spent so much time WEIGHTing for permission to let go, and now I realize more than ever that I never needed anyone’s permission but my own.

I welcome you to join me on June 14, 2026, as we put all of that weight down together.

It’s time to stop measuring your worth by the number on the scale, because it has never told the whole story.

The scale can measure how much you weigh, but it cannot measure the grief, the trauma, the insecurity, the survival, or the strength it took to keep showing up.

That is what Weight, There’s More is all about.

This is more than a podcast launch. It is a release. It is a declaration. It is the beginning of something so much greater.

Tickets are moving fast. Check the link in my bio to secure your seat. 🧡🎙️

It’s no secret, I had surgery and lost weight.

And then I realized the physical weight wasn’t the hardest to lose.

See nobody talks about what happens AFTER the transformation.

After the surgery.
After the glow up.
After everybody congratulates you and moves on.

What happens when you’re standing in a new body still carrying the same grief?
The same survival habits?
The same version of yourself built around being “the strong one”?

The scale changed.
But the story was just beginning.

WEIGHT, THERE’S MORE is not a weight loss story.
It’s about the woman becoming.

June 14th is not just a podcast launch.
It’s a declaration that the scale was NEVER the whole story.

And I couldn’t think of a better woman to help guide this conversation than the incredible @raven_paris . A woman whose presence, energy, and voice command every room she enters.

If you’ve ever carried more than anyone could see, this room is for YOU.

Every label they gave me tried to become my name.

Addiction.
Foster kid.
Alone.
Broken.
Unworthy.

They stuck.
Not because they were true…
But because nobody taught me how to peel them off.

So I carried them. Built a life on top of them.
Smiled through them. Succeeded with them.

Until I realized…
just because something was placed on me
doesn’t mean it belongs to me.

Now I’m choosing what stays.
And what never gets to touch me again.

The scale was never the only thing weighing me down.
Weight, there’s more.

What a February to remember ✨💖

Yesterday, I attended the “Be Our Galentine?” networking and connection event hosted by @raven_paris , @iamcheyparker , @samara.curtiss , @dexte.denim , and @bubblytv 💐

I spent my Saturday evening in a room full of beautiful, powerful women 🫶🏾👑 It was more than networking with women in business. It was a space to build community, pour into one another, and offer real encouragement 🤝🏾💬💕

There’s a stereotype that women, especially Black women, don’t support each other. I refuse to accept that 🙅🏾‍♀️ There is nothing like the support, affirmation, and love of a Black woman 🖤✨ and yesterday we intentionally created that space.

I also had the opportunity to participate in the pitch competition 🎤 and as nervous as I was, ya girl took home the prize 🏆😭 I’ve never won a competition like this and had never pitched live before. I walked in not knowing the outcome, but knowing that this was a step forward, turning my purpose and passion into reality 🌱🔥 No more talking about it. No more just thinking about it. It’s time to DO IT 💼💡

Thank you all for the love and support 💖 Yesterday felt like the beginning of something BIG 🚀

So… what are you WEIGHTing for? 👀✨
