What if we stopped asking, “What if I run out of money?” and started asking, “What if I run out of time?” 💗

What if we stopped waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect bank account, or the perfect circumstances to start living the life we keep dreaming about?

Book the trip. Take the adventure. Go see the places that have been calling your name. Say yes to the crazy idea. Make the memories. Take the pictures. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Hold your babies a little longer, kiss your husband a little more, and spend time with the people who make your world feel like home.

Because one day, we might wish we had spent less time worrying about what we could afford and more time doing what made us feel alive.

Money comes and goes. Time only goes.

And I don’t know about you, but I want to look back on this wild, beautiful life and know I DID THE THINGS. I took the chances. I chased the dreams. I loved my people hard. I saw the world. I made a few questionable decisions that turned into the BEST stories. 😂

We’re not promised forever. We’re just promised today.

So maybe the question isn’t “Can I afford to do this?”

Maybe it’s “Can I afford to keep putting my life on hold?” 💗

Recovery is going pretty darn well over here in Hawaii! 🌺💗

I got to swim with THREE beautiful tiger sharks with my girlies and Braden! 🦈💗

The ocean is pure magic… and the mystery of everything it holds makes me feel so lucky to experience it. 🌊✨

A little saltwater, sunshine, family, and sharks = my kind of recovery! 💕

Exactly ONE WEEK ago I crossed the finish line of Bigfoot 200! 🥹💗

This was me during the final few miles… and let’s just say, the struggle was VERY real 😂

I had been running crooked since around mile 150 after a fall seriously messed up my back. I could barely stand up straight, let alone run straight! 😂

Then came mile 189… I took a NAP at mile 189. Yes, so close but still chose sleep. 😂💤 And when I woke up, I was convinced I was magically fixed and back to running normally again.

Spoiler alert: I was NOT. 😂I had NO idea until I saw videos 😂

Those last 50 miles were hard. Really hard. Really ugly. But they were also some of the most meaningful miles because they taught me so much about digging deep, overcoming, and finding another gear when your body is screaming, “Absolutely not!” 💗

I’m forever grateful for the hard races that force me to grow and remind me just how much we are capable of when we not have the option to quit.

And a HUGE thank you to my son-in-law @braden.bk for pacing me those final 11 miles. He brought so much fun, laughter, and LIGHT when I needed it most. I’m so incredibly happy he’s part of our family! 💗

One week later, I’m smiling, grateful, and already looking forward to the next adventure.

See for Moab 240 in October! 🏃🏼‍♀️💗🔥

🏈 What’s more important: winning or learning?

I think most people answer this question too quickly.

What’s your take?
