watch me discover a new ultra format… 👀🤭

8 hours… 6k loops… as many laps as possible!!! similar to a backyard ultra, but without the hourly starts and mandatory breaks… just keep going until the wheels fall off!!!

the highlight… @izzy.daviesx FIRST ULTRA!!! 🥹💗 she said 30k… ended up pushing for another 18k and finishing with 48K!!! from saying she’d never run a marathon again to completing an ultra… im SO proud of her!!!

consider this your sign to book that ultra… you never know what you’re capable of until you push yourself!!! 🤩 always say this, but these events are ALL in the brain 🧠

HUGE shoutout to @resoluterunning, alex, the team and all the amazing volunteers for putting on such an insane event!!! first time running with these organisers and definitely won’t be the last… more races next year pls guys 👀

and the BIGGEST thank you to my crew… you know who you are… forever grateful for you all!!! ❤️🫶🏽xxx

Such a pleasure to be at the @solaceperformance backyard ultra this weekend! What an absolutely mega event to witness!

What a humbling experience, and the atmosphere throughout the weekend was something else.

Massive kudos to every single athlete who stepped onto that start line. Nothing but respect for you all!👏🏼

And a huge shoutout to the team behind it all for putting on such a special event. What a weekend🤝🏼

This year I was part of the event team… next year, maybe I’ll be on the other side of the fence? 👀

A bit of a different one from me as I wasn’t running the BYU… but OH MY GOD, what an incredible event the @solaceperformance Backyard Ultra was!!! 🥹🖤

The biggest well done to @ultra_dubz for being the last man standing, and to the amazing Emily @ultrafemily for being the last female standing - honestly my inspiration!! 👸🏽

I was crewing the event for my mum on her birthday and my uncle, and I genuinely had the BEST time. From yapping away with all the amazing volunteers, to supporting every runner, it was so special to see just how much this weekend meant to everyone who was there. 👏🏽

The biggest thank you to @solaceperformance for hosting such an incredible event, and to every single person behind the scenes who made it so special. It really was a weekend to remember. 🙏🏽

Also amazing to have @the_little_ovens there serving up the BEST pizza in Cheshire and @homecoffeealsager saving us all on Sunday morning after a night of absolutely zero sleep ☕️😂

And lastly… @bradjlancaster, I am SO proud of you for putting on this event 🥺 You’ve been overwhelmed by all the lovely messages, but every single one is so deserved. You created something really special and I can’t wait to see what you do next - and of course be a part of whatever it is! 🫶🏽

Freeing up the 2027 calendar cos I can’t miss the next one 👩🏽‍💻xx
