Join Us For [E26] Xenopsia
Friday 10.23 at DOG

Consider the physical world as something to which we have never had unmediated access. Matter persists in excess of its appearances. Each person edits an inhabitable reality from this excess, furnishing it with distances, threats, invitations, appetites, theories of possibility. Rocks become features, surfaces for ascending or launching from. An interval becomes faster still. The environment acquires intentions it does not possess. We live and play inside these interpretations with the foolish confidence of people who have mistaken an atmosphere for an address.

DOG is pleased to present [E26] Xenopsia, an exhibition of large-scale photographs exploring a state in which the physical, perceived, and anticipated briefly coincide, and the body becomes the strangest instrument you own.

“Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a deer. I grabbed the Mamiya RZ67 in my passenger seat, quickly focused it, and shot one frame before I even came to a stop. It felt perfect, like I was exactly where I was meant to be, exactly when I was meant to be there.”

The votes are in!

2026 Global Ocean Cleanup Art Competition Winners are here:

🏆 Judge’s Choice: @turtle.foundation (Cabo Verde)
🥈 Runner-Up: @cheloniapr (Puerto Rico)
❤️ Audience Choice: @marsemlixo2oficial (Brazil)

Each of these incredible teams receives $500 in support from Oceanic Society for turning ocean waste into something powerful, moving, and impossible to ignore.

Huge gratitude to every partner who took what was pulled from our oceans and transformed it into art that makes people stop, feel, and think differently about our planet.

This is what impact looks like when creativity meets conservation 🌍

After each cleanup, our partners transform what they collected into original artwork — trash into testimony. The pieces will be judged by a panel of artists and conservationists, and you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.
