Have had an amazing journey with @im8health in DTC, but the piece I miss from decades of work transforming direct selling is the people.

Of course, the hardest part of direct selling, and by far the most rewarding, is the human interaction—something more and more of us are noticing is absent in an increasingly digital world.

It felt like kismet that one of my mentors and best friends in the direct selling industry, John Parker, whom I got to work with at Amway North America as a distributor and then launching XS there and later Japan…and then I reported to John after we sold XS to Amway…anyway, he was supposed to be in Thailand but rerouted to Dallas due to flooding, and we got to hang out a bit by providence. Like many great friends, we fell back into things like we hadn’t been apart.

Also, loving working with Stuart Johnson who has been creating these events and our SoComm (Social Commerce Summit) events—another long-time friend, who I happened to meet with John in Japan 20ish years ago.

Have been talking a lot on podcasts at at events with Peter Griscom (we co-host the Verified Podcast) about how direct selling companies have a unique opportunity to transform themselves with fully-applied DTC tools that empower the business owners and staff. With AI tools we can combine compliance and growth to do the right things that can exponentially grow the business without being all the things people hate about the bad behaviors in direct selling.

We’ll see where this next chapter leads…stay tuned.

The magical second half of Jadon & Mason's August wedding at Greencrest Manor ✨

Seeing our beautiful couple and their loved ones dancing and celebrating the night away in our new tented structure is a dream come true. When we first started imagining this structure, we wanted to provide an additional space where celebrations could naturally unfold across the grounds.

Nestled in the trees, this tent provides a stunning area surrounded by lush green nature, and set beneath the twinkling stars at night. It is a blank slate ready to be transformed and hold your favorite new memories. Seeing the glow of lights at night, laughter floating out of the tent and across the grounds, is such a gift 🤍

Serving our clients and their families well will always be at the heart of all that we do - whether it's transforming existing structures or creating new ones, we make each decision with our couples in mind. We can't wait to see all of the celebrations to come in this incredible space! 🌿

A weekend at @greencrest_manor in Battle Creek, Michigan, where mother nature proved as generous as the couple at the center of it all. Jadon and Mason’s wedding was forecast to meet severe storms on Saturday, but something shifted. The radar softened. What began as sunshine and celebration at Friday’s welcome party melted into the gentlest of sprinkles as guests gathered for the ceremony, as if the sky itself was blessing their union with restraint and grace.

There’s a particular kind of beauty in how couples respond to what they can’t control. Jadon and Mason moved through the day with such intention and care—covered spaces for drinks, umbrellas at the ready, thoughtful gifts to ease any discomfort. Two hundred and sixty guests surrounded by gestures of love from the two people at the center of it all. The gardens and verandas of Greencrest Manor held their wedding with the same gentleness.

Quiet first looks in the gardens. Laughter moving through rooms full of people who came to witness something genuine. Every detail felt personal and true. I loved how each table had a dedicated “captain” to help keep the party going, and how the drone show was a big surprise.

It was an honor to document their story alongside an exceptional group of creatives and vendors who made this celebration feel exactly as it should.

What’s your favorite XS flavor? Mine was Rootbeer Blast, but that just changed—now it’s new Rocket Blast, like a Bomb Pop from the ice cream truck on a hot summer day (but none of the sugar and all the B-vitamins).

This past month Dr Dena was pleased to be invited to present about optimizing Women’s health and menopause at the @amway annual international conference in Ada, MI. She was joined by the esteemed Dr Brian Kennedy of @nus_longevity . We enjoyed the wonderful people at Amway, and we were very proud of their labs dedication to purity and efficacy.
