COVER REVEAL A young woman is abducted and brutally attacked on a rain-soaked night at Buscan City University. Her attackers believe they have gotten away with it. When members of the notorious Black Cats fraternity begin turning up dead, each victim bearing the same gruesome signature, fear grips the university. Rival cults prepare for war, and Assistant Superintendent Kalu Manulife is brought in to find the killer before the violence spirals out of control. But one student may hold the key. Simon Tyough never wanted to join a cult. Now he is plagued by disturbing blackouts, fractured memories and a growing fear that he may know more about the killings than he remembers. As Kalu closes in on the truth, Simon is forced to confront the darkness inside him and the secrets surrounding the night that changed everything. Devil’s Pawn is a gripping crime thriller with a supernatural edge, where vengeance, guilt and violence collide in the darkest corners of a university campus. DEVIL’S PAWN is coming to bookstores on June 7 2027.

Respect ain’t a REMIX, so stop saying “but you also” When truth comes knocking at your door. Two captains on one ship don’t steer, they only guarantee a sinking shore. Two heads on one body ain’t strength It’s a monster built from ego at its core. Growth begins when you listen first Not when you reload your comeback for war. And the moment you stop fighting correction, You become someone worth hearing more. #spokenword #poetry #poetrycommunity #respect #accountability

THE GREAT BRITISH SUMMER.... When it comes it comes with fury. I am not furious because it's bark is worse than it's bite. It teases and pleases, when you are ready to bask, it goes without warning. I have learnt to embrace it just as it is, like that friendship you need and love but comes and goes as it pleases... #poetsofinstagram #poetrylovers

WHAT SOFT REALLY MEANS... I like this term. My definition might be different but Fight not. It simply means, I have come to terms with my reality, the frailty of human existence, learnt from my experience and the evidence is now documented by easy living. Acceptance and allegiance to the almighty. Flowing through each day, come what may, breathing, living, giving and loving. Accepting goodness in all ramifications, Becoming, growing, glowing and above all. Being soft.... DFwordsmith #poetsofınstagram #poetsociety

MEAN MANE This is a story of glory. My crowning glory. I came into life with a full head of curly goodness, While everyone oohed and aahed, my journey began. Thickness, strength undiluted. Unfiltered.Unaduterated. Tamed unnaturally, subdued, stripped. Alas!!! Rebirth, restored, To it's rightful pedestal. Undefiled, undefeated. My pride, my joy My crowning glory. DFwordsmith.
