Berlin producer, DJ, and co-founder of label Infinite Drift, Mathis Ruffing joins Starry Records for a collaborative single with nextdimensional. A Baltimore club breaks + 4x4 fusion, Mathis’ signature creative sound design and tight percussion blend seamlessly with melodic synth hardware contributions from nextdimensional.

NYC-based experimental footwork & club music producer Ashley Gill (AG) reinterprets Run It with a dark, driving 4x4 spin. Clocking in at 150bpm with a strong bass & juke influence, AG’s penchant for explosive and high energy club tracks shines through.

Edmonton-based music artist Text Chunk clocks in for a mind-bending 4 minute, 37 second bath of powerful sub frequencies. Equal parts dystopian and club heater, this remix fits seamlessly into the Starry discography with its minimal take on Run It.

👾 music all day long from selectors near & far, including @bastiengoat and @grrlmusic , a live voguing performance from @houseofgvasalia , a free printmaking booth, a marketplace of vendors (clothing, accessories, jewellery, art), food trucks, a harm reduction booth & more.

🤝 this event is a partnership with cSPACE and the City of Calgary, with generous support from @brookfieldpropertiesyyc and CJSW 90.9FM.
