A u t u m n R e t r e a t 🍂

A little look back at a really beautiful day 🥹

We moved, breathed, rested, ate, listened, laughed and simply gave ourselves permission to slow down.

And I feel particularly grateful for this one because some of you travelled quite a distance to spend the day with me (and a few of you, not for the first time 🥹).

Thank you to every woman who joined me, and to Emma from @breath4good for holding such a beautiful TRE session, @jo_jo_sounds for the sound and sharing those gorgeous heartfelt words from the poem you prepared, and everyone who helped make the day what it was.

The feedback afterwards made my heart burst:

“Everything is so thoughtfully put together… it all flows in such a calm, unhurried way.”

“You really get the chance to switch off and just be.”

(I loved) “The general feel of calm and welcome.”

And perhaps my favourite:

“I always leave feeling calmer, lighter and so glad I went.” 🤍

And now, we turn towards winter…

My next retreat is a little different.

A cosy Winter Retreat, with yoga to begin the day, a beautiful wreath-making workshop with local award winning florist @rockabillyrosetheflorist , which follows our hearty winter brunch and of course, sound healing to bring us gently towards the end of the day.

A chance to make something beautiful, nourish yourself, and take a proper pause before the rush of December begins.

There are currently a few places booked, but there is still space for you around the table.

If that sounds like something you need, I’d love to welcome you. Autumn has had her turn, and now it’s winter’s…

Drop ‘Winter’ in the comments for more info, and I’ll do the rest 🤍

Jane 🤍

Harvest sound bath with lovely Emma @breath4good @quintonrectorygarden is always one of my favourite outdoor sound baths of the year. My favourite season, welcoming in calmer energy, slowly withdrawing and moving towards nurturing. I love creating an atmospheric experience with my sound baths bring scent, light and colour. My first mallets were all different colours and I’ve continued expressing myself through colour. Autumn always stirs within my elfin/witch like qualities.

Starting the evening on the edge of dusk, birds singing, wildlife around us nestling down for the night and ending in stillness, the hooting of owls, pure dark sky and lights surrounding us. Just magical. It was a new moon in Virgo too so even more meaningful and powerful.

The outdoor series sound baths help us raise money to donate towards @womenforwomenuk and I’m eternally grateful that I am able to do what I do 🙏🏻 and reminded that many, many others don’t have this freedom

Thank you to everyone that came. We’ll see you on the lawn again next year 🙏🏻

I have a feeling this is going to be a really special afternoon. 🌿

On Sunday 6th September, I’m joining the lovely Emma from @breath4good for Yin & Swim, in her beautiful garden.

And honestly, wait until you see this garden🤍

We’ll practise Yin beneath the willow tree, with plenty of time to slow down, soften and settle.

Then, for those who fancy it, we’ll head to the natural swimming pond for a dip, before finishing the afternoon with a beautiful afternoon tea in the garden.

Yin, wild swimming and cake… I’m not sure Sundays get much better than that.

And even better, all profits from the afternoon will be donated to women’s charities.

A chance to spend an afternoon outside, connect and do something lovely for ourselves…… and give something back at the same time.

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed on NLive Radio to talk about the Menopause Directory – a collaboration of 13 incredible local women, each running businesses dedicated to supporting women through menopause and beyond.

It was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the wide range of help available in our community, from health and wellbeing to fitness, nutrition, coaching and more.

🎙️ The full interview is available via the link in my bio.

📖 You can also download the Menopause Directory for free from my website (link in bio) and discover the amazing local businesses supporting women on their menopause journey.

Together, we’re making it easier for women to find the support they need, when they need it most.

☀️ Solstice Celebration in Quinton ☀️

It’s our annual extravaganza, and biggest single fundraiser of the season for @womankindworldwide . Each June, @annakrivenko_ps @jo_jo_sounds and me organise our Stretch, Swim and Sound evening around the solstice. And somehow, miraculously, the sun comes out, the air is warm, and the garden takes on an energetic quality of abundance as we’re joined by what feels like an ever growing community of lovely people.

I wanted to share something of our evening of wellbeing with you all through this gallery of images because this kind of event forms the backbone of our mission to do good through our garden. But rest assured, normal actual garden-focused content will resume soon xx

✨ Women supporting women. Wisdom supporting women. Hearts supporting women. ✨

It truly brings me joy to be part of this beautiful collective of practitioners, each offering their unique gifts to help women navigate the ever-changing seasons of life.

As someone who has experienced the challenges of perimenopause and menopause myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel. Through meditation, Reiki, sound healing, breath awareness, self-discovery practices and holistic wellbeing support, I hold space for women to pause, reconnect with themselves, calm their nervous system, and remember the wisdom that already lives within them.

Menopause isn’t something to “fix.” It’s an invitation to listen more deeply, honour your body, and create new ways of supporting yourself with compassion and grace.

Together, we are raising vibrations, sharing knowledge, and creating a circle, where no woman has to be alone. 💛

A huge thank you to @christina_winfield for bringing this alive 🤗 and everyone involved in this wonderful directory:
