On Monday me and @breclaimed went back to where everything literally started. If anyone doesn't know, my Dad taught me basically everything I know about drums. Weekly we would get in a practice room with two drum kits and just go at it for an hour. We did that for YEARS. Eventually that stopped. For years.
His band got back together, I started my own band and a lot changed. We hadn't really played drums at the same time in the same room in probably 5 years. But I said fuck it, let's change that, and as usual it was one of the coolest things i could've asked for. No one understands and will ever understand how little I would have if my Dad never taught me everything I know about drums. That's a whole different post for another time. But there's nothing cooler than doing what you love, with the people you love. That's why I started doing this and that's always why I will always continue to do this. Thank you Da, love ya

I was given one of the best weekends I could've possibly been given. I spent two days surrounded by my favorite people, my best friends in the whole fucking world doing everything I love. I can't thank everybody enough and will never be able to. These past few years have been the best of my life and it's because I've been given this family. I can't begin to think about the day when this family isn't here, that's why every single fucking moment with this people means more to me than they'll ever know. I love you all so much. That was the best feral show we've played, without a doubt.
