13 years later, and somehow I always find my way back to a hardwood floor. 🤠🤍

Country dancing found me in 2013, before country was cool. I had no idea what I was doing… I was just a washed-up childhood dancer looking for a new outlet. Over the years, I’ve gone through different phases of country dancing, but somehow I always come back to it.

Now I’m actually learning how to two-step and country swing the proper way. I’ve hired coaches to guide me, and I’m even starting to explore the competition world of two-step, country swing, and progressive.

Safe to say I’m officially in my addicted to dance again phase. 💃🏼

Any other former dancers out there who somehow always find their way back to the dance floor? 👇🏼

A year ago, I decided to prioritize my health and build more muscle before turning 50. 💪🏼 I reached out to @BreeNorton and committed to exercising seriously for the first time in my life. I knew weight training would give me more energy and help me get stronger, but I didn’t expect it to become such an important part of my week.

Bree keeps me accountable and somehow gets me to push a little harder with every workout. But what really makes it work is Bree herself. She’s a sweetheart, incredibly knowledgeable, her laugh is contagious, and she always manages to talk me into one more rep. It’s refreshing to work with someone who genuinely cares so much about her clients.

One year later, I feel stronger and more consistent than I’ve ever been. I’m grateful for the changes I see in my body, but even more for how good I feel afterward, knowing I showed up for myself.

Thank you, Bree, for turning me into “one of those people” I always wanted to be. 😉

YESSS 2026 recap!! Had the privilege of competing in Arizona for the first time earlier this month! I should have taken more pictures and videos with all the awesome people I met!! Grateful for all the new friendships cultivated as well as getting to be beside close friends from @knoxcountryswing and @countrycityswing! I competed in two-step for the first time ever! Three of the Biggest highlights were getting to do a strictly with @_liberty.grace_!! Super appreciative for all her love and support on and off the floor over the past few months! I even got follow and do lifts in a Pro/am with one one and only Chris Ivey from @reddirtdancing (yes we got DQ’d but that was part of the fun), and I got to do a Pro/am with @realraegankalasz who is one of the main people who got me into dance a year and a half ago and it changed my life!! Looking forward to next year and the years to come!! #yesssconvention #countryswing #maketwostepgreatagain

Don’t get it twisted… I love the questions.

I LOVE what I do. I enjoy talking shop. Whether it’s family and friends asking for help or someone catches wind of what I do & wants some advice

My passion for my career is what has sparked the drive to find better ways of doing it.

Traveling, virtually, cash based. I’ve done it all in my tireless pursuit to do this shit better than it’s currently being done.

So fire away. BUT. You better buckle in and be ready for response.

I care too much about what I do.
