Wow, 24 is nearly done… It’s been 2 years since I posted, and this year as been crazy! In the past couple years, I found a new career path in Stage Management, found a job I absolutely adore in addiction recovery, helped lead a protest to save my major, and have discovered so much about myself! Here’s to 25 being just as good!

#StudentSummerFeature Bree Stobbe’s vision for directing Pinocchio was rooted in a deep passion for bringing high-quality, soul-nourishing theatre to children in Southern Utah. This artistically ambitious production embraced a minimalist and abstract approach, intentionally moving away from spectacle to instead highlight the play’s emotional core. At the heart of the story were themes of loving the unique beauty in ourselves and others, and the transformative power of sacrifice and love—offering young audiences a meaningful and enduring theatrical experience.

Pinocchio: Adventures of A Wooden Boy 2025

I never thought I’d do a theater-for-young-audiences piece before but here we are. This was quite a fun experience, getting to know and work with my cast was so much fun, though not as rewarding putting smiles on kid’s faces. I enjoyed the process of creating this show and premiering this version of it! I want to thank my each and everyone of the cast, crew and my wonderful director for casting me and making this show work in such short time! Thank you all who came to see it, without you there’d be no show.

Until next time.

Picnic was a peck of fun! ♥️

This was such a fun production with an entirely wonderful cast and crew to work with, I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with you all!! The rapport I feel that we built by the end was lovely and I think we made something magical ✨

Irma Kronkite was such a fun character to play—she really challenged me to embrace my bubbly nature and find more ease on stage, which I’m so grateful for… and those red shoes and gloves were pretty fun too! 👠

Thank you to those who came and saw the show!! And thank you to the cast and crew for being a light in my life for these few months—this community is the reason I keep falling in love over and over again with the theatre ♥️
