It’s a VBB sewing weekend @breezylanecreations home. I have never been so neat in my set up🤭 could I be getting more organized or did I just want it to look good for Instagram 😂I will never tell! Currently working on a commissioned Sew Jolly pillow top by @Lella Boutique. @cnmngirl_quilter @lynnethomas65

Today was exceptionally blessed as I vowed my faith to God with Savanna at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church. Such a truly heart filling spiritual day that concluded with a delicious luncheon hosted by my dear friends. Showered with gifts and generosity of spirit. I cannot be more thankful to @breezylanecreations @sarahbeth1964 @lynnethomas65
The fruit inspiration was courtesy of @carla.bushey. Banana bars, banana pudding, strawberry cake, sloppy joes, deviled eggs, potato salad, baked beans, and some much more. I wont be hungry for days.

Day 31
.
Friends. I'm an introvert by nature. Getting outside of my comfort zone is really tough for me. I'm happiest at home, amongst my family, with my stitchy things. I find it a tad ironic I'm this way. 1. My mom is very much an extrovert. She loves getting chatty and meeting new people. 2. I'm a military brat. I moved often and was constantly thrown into new situations where I had to make friends. You'd think with all that practice, I'd be good at it, or at least comfortable. Ha!
.
Social media has been a godsend for me with friends. I'm able to be brave behind a screen, typing out little notes and captions. These friendships here are dear to me, good ol' cozy ones that I feel at my ease.
.
Above is a collection of friends I chat with often and have known for years now. I am so glad I know each of these souls. I thought I'd share in case any of you may find a kindred spirit as well 🎀

Christmas makes for the VBB Christmas gathering. Four and a half glorious days of sewing, shenanigans, food, massages and reading the Book of Luke! I gifted these to the girls while at our retreat. I had them take pics and send to me because I forgot to grab one before hand. I made this travel iron case by @zeriano for all of us. A fun make for sure!

“Not my creations” - I have received the most wonderful #strawberryloversswap2024 package from the sweet Cindy @breezylanecreations 💞💕🍓🥰
She truly payed attention to my likes and used the cutest prints and colors for her creations. The #miniquilt found a spot on the wall in my sewing room and the zipper pouch will be packed with my hand sewing supplies for our upcoming vacation. I absolutely love everything and couldn’t be happier with my gifts. Thank you sew much for you thoughtful makes 💞💕🍓🥰
Another successful #strawberryloversswap , thanks to @amberleighcrafts and her group of helpers 💕💕💕

Cannot express how it makes my heart happy to spend time with my sew sisters. They brought me an early 🎂 🥳 and made me feel celebrated. The weather on the sewing porch was exceptional. My little boyfriend, Charlie, even came for a makeout sesh 🐶 Finally, this chickie has got a little sewjo back. It has been a minute since I have felt like sewing so, I thank these ladies for rejuvenating my spirit and making my weekend so darn special! Can't wait to see them again next week lol! More coffee, more pear cider, Aunt Tara is coming to get ya Charlie 😘😘

Also, checking in. We have no cicadas yet.... but, we do have piss ants 🐜 🙄 😒 🤣 😤

My addition to @crabapplequilts apples for her #babetravelingquiltbee2024 #babetravelingquiltbee. The inchworms were so hungry they ate through all the apples in the top row leaving trails in search of new apple to eat. I delivered to to The next in line @breezylanecreations while we were having a sew weekend with @lynnethomas65 and @cnmngirl_quilter ❤️❤️❤️

Here's some ideas that I love from other makers tagged. I'm kinda loving the typewriter fabric with the cute little heart, but then I'm kind of just loving all these. I like useful cute things like totes/baskets. Just have fun! #lilheartswap2024
