Tomorrow starts the 2026-2027 HYROX season and couldn’t be more excited to send off NINE people from our engine team to their race in DC this weekend

There has been so much work put in to get here. The Engine has truly become a family. And whether you’re racing this weekend, in the future, or come to class to build your fitness.. every person has continuously shown up to push themselves and cheer each other every session, and has built an unbreakable bond.
The impact this group has on community and in their own lives is something incredible to see grow. Truly couldn’t be more proud to go watch them crush their race

This is it. It’s time for the victory lap. Smile!!! Have fun, take it all in. and more than anything, trust the work that’s been put in. No more work left to do. It’s game time. Goodluck. LETS GET IT!!!

Twelve weeks of work. Early mornings. Long sessions. Plenty of moments where it would’ve been easier to back off.

And now it’s time.

I’ve been telling the team the same thing: don’t come flying out of the gate. Use your teammate. Take your breaks. Smile.

The hard part is already done.

This isn’t some magical day where you suddenly become fitter, stronger or tougher than you’ve been for the last 12 weeks. It’s simply the next stage, the opportunity to show what you’ve built.

This crew knows how to compete. More importantly, they know how to enjoy the process and bring that energy with them every step of the way.

So trust your training. Trust your teammate. Let it rip.

Now go let it shine….

And if watching these ladies train has you thinking, “I should probably give this HYROX thing a shot…”

Good.

HYROX sim and Engine classes start June 7.

For the next week, anyone who signs up gets 10% off.

Comment SPAM below and we’ll send you the discount code.

You don’t have to race tomorrow to start training like an athlete today.

Ever since I moved to the beach three years ago, a cornerstone of my time here is showing people the magic nestled here on the shores of the first state. This fashion editorial, and the creatives, who made it happen, are living proof of that. What an honor it is to show off all of the incredible talent here. Summer officially starts tomorrow and I welcome you to join me and kicking it off with a copy of the first issue of the 2026 season of @thecapecurrent in hand…show a bit of local love. 😘🌊🎠🍦

I’ve found real friends in these women and the incredible soul that connected all of us. @claireincontrera, thank you for pouring your blood sweat and tears into @sweatsoleil and going above and beyond to show this little ole beach town how to do it big. 🌊🧘🏻‍♀️

This collaborative collection with @shop.paiya is simply perfect and I couldn’t have been more honored to shoot it. More of this please: real women, real bodies, real strength, and real good vibes. ✨

P.S. - also more shoots with all eras of Kayne West playing over the speakers as we shoot please. 📷

Happy birthday to our very own pistol squattin, pull up conquerin, standard raisin, barbell wranglin, game changin COACH BRE! Woo!

She doesn’t just demo the reps. She owns them.
She doesn’t just coach intensity. She sets the tone the second she walks on the floor.

She is strong as hell, no doubt, but what makes her awesome is how much she cares. She sees what we can become and she pushes us to rise to it.

No shortcuts. No excuses.

Be sure to wish her a very happy birthday!

It’s wild how humbling fitness can be— even as coaches, we are always learning and growing

There are times that you have probably tried a new movement ortyoe of workout and instantly remember what being a beginner feels like again

It’s can be frustrating or make you feel defeated. I’ve been there, trust me 😅

But there’s something powerful in starting over/learning something new— It keeps you honest. It keeps you grounded. And most of all, it keeps you growing.

When I was learning this (and still am), getting frustrated doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you care.
New movements aren’t supposed to feel natural right away. They’re supposed to challenge you. If something feels hard, that just means there’s room to improve

The goal isn’t to avoid the uncomfortable parts

The goal is to lean into those parts and let it shape you into someone stronger each day

Keep getting after it.
