A day in my life as a 28 yr old queer salon owner and hairstylist in the Midwest!
Some days I wear my business owner hat, some days I wear my hairstylist hat, but today was one of the many days I did a mixture of both!
I figured it was a great day to bring y’all along for the ride. Hope you enjoy!

Warning : Each day is different than the last and sometimes less glamorous, be happy I’m not bringing you along w me on Saturday when I fix the salon toilet! BRB gotta find my handyman hat?

👽It’s finally time for “The Space Baby” gender reveal!!!! 🚀

In this reveal PINK 🌸 is for girl and GREEN 💚 is for boy!

Watch @hairbyallyfrazier dye my hair to find out the gender of my first baby! So exciting! Thank you to @olivethehairapist and @hairbyallyfrazier for my amazing cut and color I had so much fun getting my hair done by you guys! Another special thanks to the whole @thespacesalon team. I could never ask for a more supportive and loving team. From buying me ginger ale and preggy pops to helping pick up my slack on doing the trash and laundry on the hard days, they are always by my side. Also the excitement every time they see my baby bump is a real confidence boost. 🫣🤭 I couldn’t have made it through this first trimester without you guys! Love you all!

Thank you to all the people watching AKA my clients your patience and support has been a HUGE help as well. Hugs to you all! I wouldn’t be where I am without you. 💕

Can I tell you something?

I’ve been at @thespacesalon a little over 9 months💕

When I started earlier this year I was filled with fear and doubts of what if…
What if I wasn’t good enough…
What if nobody liked me…
What if I started over and I failed …

Per usual I am my biggest enemy. 😓 During these past few months I have been growing my craft, made new friends with all my amazing coworkers, and I have been booked and supported by the amazing community of Fort Wayne. 🫶🏽 All of this wouldn’t be possible without everyone who has supported me on my way.
Let this be your reminder that you can start over and you can make it.

Today is my 2 YEARS with @thespacesalon ! I am so incredibly grateful for the great days, the hard days, and everything in between! In these past two years i have attended many classes, met some incredible clients, worked 2 gender free haircut days, applied a whole lot of foils, and created a lot of great haircuts! I am so fortunate to be surrounded by my boss Olive and so many talented, likeminded individuals who i get to work alongside with. I love The Space Salon, cheers to 2 years! 🪐🌙🩷
