Meet Matilda, Brew and Bogey!

It all started when I turned 18 and my biggest wish was to go walk dogs in the shelter. We decided to go, and guess who they gave us to walk? Brew. Long story short, after a few visits we completely turned our lives around so that he could be a part of our family.

Since then, Brew has helped me graduate from high school, make a tonne of new friends and build a community of people and their dogs 🤍

This showed when we moved to Spain in 2024 for a semester abroad. Brew came with us and through him we got to know a lot of our neighbors as well as wonderful people with a dog called Alma. They were also expats finding their way in a new country, with a dog who helped them navigate all these changes.

Since, Brew was diagnosed with cancer and lost his leg to it. We are battling ig as hard as we can, and so far he has been beating odds and is still with us even after 10 months ❣️

A little baby called Bogey joined our crew in June 2025 and has opened even more door for us in terms of how much a dog can help you connect with others.

This is why I wanted to do this project - to show people how much of a difference and joy a dog brings into your life 😁 And also, to raise some funds for the shelter from which we adopted Brew 5 years ago 🤍
