POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Post-op week 5: I jinxed myself, ended up back in the ER/hospital with another intestinal blockage for three and a half days, and now have a catheter inserted in my ostomy to prevent further blockages. Yay?

Otherwise, I improved my mile time by ten minutes(!!), finished my puzzle (Evan wants you to know he placed one (1) piece), had kitty cuddles, met my new goat cousins over FaceTime, and then got stir crazy and rearranged the basement (oops).

Week six, plz be normal.

Bernadette & Eska🫶🏼

Some hearts just understand each other. Eska has had a rough past, and Bernadette has taken the time to give her a great life and let her just be who she is. 🩷

Bernadette is also a photographer, and their session reminded me how much the special moments with our horses come with effortless effort.

Unintentional moments require intentional space.

Letting your horse’s expression soften.
Your mind to quiet.
And for you both to connect.

Sometimes those moments just happen, but so often in the wildness of life (or a photo session) we have to stop, pause, and create that space.🩷

Had one hell of a birthday month! ✨💕

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be sleeping for the rest of November.

Slowing down and taking things one day at a time while the snow slowly melts away ❄️

I don’t know about you, but know spring is on the way provides a much-needed recharge to my batteries. From sunshine to plants (and even a good book), I’m grateful to be prioritizing rest and self expression this year.

See ya 2020. Not all of it was good, but a majority of it was, one last little honors of my favorite girls before 2021

Found a gremlin in Utah, good thing there’s not a lot of water in the desert.
