Thank you for showing me how to be assertive, for teaching me the importance of standing up for myself and using my voice.

Thank you for teaching me that I should never allow for the world to discourage me from following my dreams and aspirations. Thank you for showing me the importance of surrounding myself with only those who bring me higher and support my passions, and my goals.

Reminder, self-love is a journey, not a destination. For some of us, loving ourselves wholly is not easy. We all have different experiences in life that can affect our view of self.

Also, in a world of social comparison, self-love can be that much harder.

One of the reasons why I love what I do on this platform is that I can be honest and be a voice for others who struggle with common life stressors or issues behind closed doors. But in time...

Picked up the pointed pen after a few months...struggle was really...random loops inconsistent spacing...not liking whatever was on the paper but one thing I did like was the quote by @bri_barrows that I came across on @quotecatalog and knew this would be the perfect thing to write and share!
