The highlight of 2025 was the people I spent it with. I made so many memories this year, and cherish the beautiful people that I have met. ( many of which are not pictured here) Here's to 2026 and making more memories. I love you all.

It is so rewarding to come back to something from your past and have it still be as good as you remember it. 13 years ago I did this show as a Christmas Present Girl and this year I returned as The Ghost of Christmas Past. This was truly an incredible experience. I have rediscovered a passion that I set aside many years ago. Thank you to the cast and crew who made this show so amazing. Meeting so many wonderful people was a highlight. ACC you owe me nothing.

Usually I make a birthday reflection post the day after my birthday, but umm I was busy spending the day in NYC with friends to see one of my top 3 favorite musicals, @deathbecomesher sooo anyway lol…

Chapter 31: I am Powerful Beyond Measure

I have had such an eye-opening year. From friendships that have grown to relationships that have fallen apart. From career choices I don’t regret making to career choices I don’t regret declining. I have spent all day reflecting on the year I’ve had, and I have tried to come up with something inspiringly original to say as it relates to what I’ve gone through and what I plan to take with me in the next year of my life. But honestly there’s only one thing that comes to mind. There’s a poem that’s been ingrained in me since high school. I’ve always known what the poem meant, and I never once took it’s potent message for granted. But I think, if anything, this year has made me go “oooh this poem is still relevant.”
So instead of coming up with my own words, figured I’d repeat the words of @mariannewilliamson :

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.”
